the high rating is likely due to the great proportion of korean travellers. DO NOT stay here if you are not from korea. super unfriendly towards foreigners as can be seen from the picture. my family was the first in queue for โforeignerโ check-in, but we waited super long for them to service us while their korean guests were being serviced continuously. when we approached the service desk, the staff were so frightened (probably from getting called out) and immediately called our queue number.
to add on, my family booked a suite room with two bedrooms โ one of which is supposed to be a queen bed, while the other a double bed room. instead, they proposed to us two bedrooms โ one of which is either a double bed/ 2 single bed, while the other a tatami mattress room. firstly, this is ridiculous as we PAID for the aforementioned room but they wanted to cheat our money. secondly, are you seriously asking me to sleep on the floor? we kept going back and forth but when they saw how resistant we are, they finally gave us the room we paid for.
on another note, the room has no amenities that a basic hotel has. please just spend your money elsewhere. stuck-up, racist, rude staff who cannot do their...

First and foremost the service here is very lacking and yes I agree their focus is Korean tourist and not foreign tourist but How is it that a hotel does not bath towels is a joke. They expect guest to use hand towels! I even offered to pay for big Towels but I guess itโs not even an option.
The so called Suite room as also many have mentioned is 1 room with twin beds and another Ondel room where u have to sleep on mats. The problem is the heating is central which u cannot adjust and there is no air circulation. Opening the window to sleep in -5 degree temperatures is very difficult to get a comfortable temperature making having a good nightโs sleep in this place very difficult.
Stayed for 3 nights but reception in their very limited English refused to clean the room. Saying u had to stay for 3 nights which I kept explaining I was! In the end needed the help of a Korean friend to explain and got the cleaning.
Vivaldi park itself was an ok place to visit for skiing but I would not...
