We had an amazing time with Junghee! The cooking class was not only delicious but also incredibly fun and warm-hearted. Junghee welcomed us with a big smile and instantly made us feel at home.

She guided us through a local market where we tasted a couple of traditional Korean snacks while she shared insights about Korean food and culture. Her English is perfect, and she explained everything with clarity, patience, and a great sense of humor.

Back in the kitchen, she taught us how to prepare some classic Korean dishes, step by step, with plenty of tips and stories in between. The food turned out absolutely delicious!

What made this experience truly special was Junghee herself — she's kind, attentive, and full of positive energy. She also gave us lots of local recommendations for things to try and places to visit during our stay.

Highly recommended to anyone visiting Korea who wants an authentic and...

I loved this experience so much. It was the perfect way to learn about Korean cooking and food culture. We started from a walk through the market where Junghee explained the different foods and helped us taste some. Then we went to go cook the food in the cutest setup - I could tell Junghee put a lot of thought into the decoration and everything to make it such an inviting and fun space. The food was quite easy to make and so delicious. It was the best tofu I ever tasted honestly. Junghee was really flexible with my food preferences and helped me to make substitutions with some things. Also she was so sweet to take so many photos of us during the experience so we can look back on the fun memory. I love that she also sent the recipe so I can make the food again when I return home. Thank...

The cooking class with Junghee was my best experience in Seoul during my one week of holiday there. From the moment we met Junghee it felt like the time was flying by as she was so energised, welcoming and funny. The tour over the market at the beginning was so informative and with her greeting so many people it felt pleasantly rural. Afterwards she invited us home, explained the dishes, accommodated all of our dietary needs and walked us through cooking a delicious 4 course meal. I was a little sad I had to leave afterwards, as the atmosphere was so good with her around.

So before heading out to the DMZ, Lotte Land or some touristic ancient villages and markets, get a cooking class...

Absolutely AWESOME. Had such a wonderful time. We were met at the nearby subway station, toured a wonderful local market where Joon Kee explained the various vegetables, meats, and seafood before heading back to home to learn how to cook. She gave us a quick Korean language lesson and we learned about others in our class; representing Australia, France, and the US. She was superbly prepared and was funny and informative. We cooked (chicken) Bibimbap, seafood pancake, and several sides. We ate what we prepared and shared a wonderful evening with our host and new friends. This was an exceptional experience and enhanced our time in Seoul.

Junghee was our wonderful host for this cooking classes. We started by walking through the local street vendors and buying some of the ingredients. Then we went into her home where she has converted one of her rooms to this cooking class. We made BiBimBap, seafood pancake, chicken stir fry, and fermented soybean paste soup (she ferments the Korean soybean paste for a year). Everything was really tasty. Really fun to be in her home with her family and hear her explain the differences between North and South Korean cooking techniques along with her life stories as we were preparing our dishes.
