Peace Park — Attraction in Seoul

I love this park so much than any other place in Seoul. first of all, parking lot is so large that don't have to be worry about parking. and there is artificial lake which is larger than expect. also there are big decks with roof along the lake, can take a rest with family and enjoy the peaceful time. the name of park is the PEACE PARK, as I can fully enjoy inner peach with my family. there is small convenience store that I could buy most of instant food or Ra-Myun. alcohol is banned here to drink so just bring own water. it's quite large place without cars driving. so recommend here to anyone who want...

서울특별시 마포구 서울월드컵경기장 인근의 난지도에 조성된 공원으로 6년에 걸친 안정화 사업과 1년 이상의 공원화 공사를 거쳐 2002년 5월 1일 개장하였다. 1978년부터 15년간 쓰레기 9,200만t을 매립한 105만 평의 부지에 조성되었으며, '환경월드컵'의 상징물로 습지와 꽃밭, 연못, 요트장, 흙길 마라톤 코스 등을 갖춘 5개 테마 생태공원으로 이루어져 있다. 5개 공원 가운데 평화의 공원과 난지천공원, 난지한강공원, 하늘공원은 개장 당일에 문을 열었고, 노을공원은 9홀 규모의 대중 골프장 공사가 2004년 6월에 완성되었다. 평화의 공원은 서울월드컵경기장에서 가장 가까운 곳에 있으며, 피크닉장과 자연학습장 등이 들어서 있다. 해발고도 98m 높이에 있는 하늘공원에서는 서울시내는 물론 남산·북한산·관악산을 육안으로 볼 수 있으며, 22개의 전망대가 설치되어 있다. 또 5만 평의 초지에는 참억새, 서양민들레, 갓꽃 등이 심어져 있고, 지름 8m의 날개가 돌아가는 5대의 풍력 발전기가 세워져 있다. 강변북로 너머 한강변에 펼쳐져 있는 난지한강공원에는 전통국궁장과 제17회 월드컵축구대회 때 세계의 젊은이들이 이용했던 캠프장과 축구장, 농구장, 잔디광장, 유람선 선착장, 자연생태 습지 등이 마련되어 있다. 평화의 공원과 하늘공원은 2㎞ 구간의 산책로로 이어져 있고, 하늘공원과 노을공원의 둘레로 5.8㎞의 조깅 코스도 조성되어 있다. 서울시 마포구 성산동...
