Yangjaecheon — Local services in Seoul

Being a mountainous city, Seoul posesses many streams. Of them, Yangjae Stream is by far the best. It is at the heart of Gangnam running east-west. Town of Gangnam spends significant budget every year upgrading the landscape along the banks of the stream. The photos are recent upgrade near Tower Palace. It is known as the Cafe & Gallery Alley. Next to the green alley(which is known for morning exercise) they recently upgraded by providing wooden benches and stone block pavement and plants. The area is famous for its beautiful cherryblossom in spring and yellow and red leaves in fall, and tall Metasequoia Road in summer. Evening lighting and bustling of cafes...

Yangjaecheon is a wonderful place for a stroll! I often went there during the lunch break. :) It gets really pretty when spring comes, especially when cherry blossoms come out. Also, along Yangjaecheon, there are some nice spots for silver grass as well. If you like silver grass, the best time to see them in Korea would be around August...
