Cala Saona

Potentially speaking one of the best beach in Formentera… small beach with beautiful colours…. Unfortunately something went wrong… someone decided to allow too many boats near the seaside ( we are speaking of a very small beach in a small cove surrounded by cliff) and to make it worst they designed the channel for the tenders in the worst possible way… it is on the right side of the bay closing completely out for the people swimming from the beach the bays on the right…also the channel takes almost one fourth of the length of the beach. ( the channel should be in the middle of the beach, narrower and the boats should be allowed only on the lateral bays).The space on the sand has been taken away completely by sun lounges… probably the worst beach...

Great sunset spot and lovely small beach There is also a small bar that close around 7 and two restaurants nearby but they close at 5pm so it's more for lunchtime.

There are lovely traditional fisherman boats houses as in Calo de sant' agusti ...

Fuimos con mi esposa a esta maravillosa playa pequenita con arena blanca y agua transparente y limpia. Hay una parte publica gratis y otra a pagamento donde se pueden alquilar tumbonas a 10 euro cadauna y sombrillas a 10 euro cada una tambien y se puede pagar solo en efectivo debido a que internet no funciona bien en esa playa. No hay gaviotas en esta playa. Alrededor de la playa hay un bar Bocaboca y dos restaurantes Sol y Chacala.

We went with my wife to this wonderful little beach with white sand and transparent, clean water. There is a free public part and a paid part where you can rent sun loungers for 10 euros each and umbrellas for 10 euros each as well and you can only pay in cash because the internet does not work well on that beach. There are no seagulls on this beach. Around the beach there is a Bocaboca bar and two restaurants Sol...
