What a miserable experience we had at MediaMarkt. Yes it's true that it's hard to find anyone who speaks English there, but I consider that my problem, not theirs.) However, their customer service in any language is abysmal. We bought a Philips TV. When it was delivered to the front of the store for us, we noted that the box appeared to have been opened before and taped shut again. They assured us it was brand new and would be fine. When we got the TV home we discovered that there was no remote control. But worse than that, where the legs were supposed to be attached to the TV it was defective or damaged, resulting in an inability to attach the legs. It was a Saturday evening. We tried to call the store but got absolutely no answer. We tried sending a message through What's App, but they never even opened it. We had to drive 40 minutes back to the store to return the TV. The return process took well over an hour. We were going to buy a vinoteca (wine fridge) there as well, but I can't stomach the thought of giving this awful store any of my money again. I'll shop at Carrefour or Conforama for my electronics...

Registered myself as a user n all that jazz, got the confirmation to collect it after choosing the Los Barrios store, ate my dinner and went down there. Read moreI have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 which has been bought in Media Markt. At the moment of purchase, the seller tells you all about the watch. It is fantastic waterproof 50atm, you can swim, take showers no diving. Ok fantastic. Before 2 years the watch turned off. Brought it to media for repairs. Official response from the service, it is rejected to be repaired under warranty because of ingress of liquids. You contact Samsung official, they say it has to be repaired under the warranty but still Media Markt says it is to be paid repair. And paid 284 euros!!!! Never buy anything in that shop. They cheat you on product specification and later they don't repair even if Samsung says it has to be...
