Huge potential, poor menu and presentation unfortunately. I hope this review is taken as constructive feedback as I want to love this place, but sadly every time I try it again its a bit worse. First of all, it's pretty expensive, which is fine, if it's a quality experience, which it does have all the potential to be, however, the menu is terrible. Nothing looks particularly exciting, there is no option to add ingredients to pizzas for example, options are so limited and when the food arrives it looks thrown together. I ordered a pepperoni pizza, and it came literally just with pepperoni, no option for anything else, not even some herbs or pepper thrown on top. GF ordered some tuna pizza, it arrived with all the tuna on 1/4 and the rest had some tomatoes and other bits. It literally looked thrown together, no care, no attention. At 15€+ a pizza I expect better, I ate mine in under 3 minutes (super thin, little topping) , and left feeling very unimpressed. One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. There were many seats left in the restaurant since there were only 2 tables when we arrived, they seated us at a table with a small couch which had a giant rip in it (looked like I was in the cheapest restaurant you could find). Why would you seat us at the worst table when there are so many other tables left? Then I asked if they have anything vegan, they left the table debating with each other and came back with some olives and the lady then proceeded to ask what we would like to drink, completely ignoring my question I asked before, so I asked again ‘do you have anything vegan?’ She then showed me the menu and pointed to the salads with cheese in them. I asked if that was my only option she said yes. We then left of course since they didn’t even try to accommodate me with for example a pasta with a simple sauce. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here. The staff were lovely - attentive, polite and knowledgable about the food. We were there for a relatively early lunch service so it was quiet but everyone had been cleverly seated so that it felt pleasantly full. I'm sure that for people with an array of restaurants to choose from, this may be standard chain food fare, whereas as someone who lives in a rural area with fabulous local food on offer but little variety, I hugely enjoyed every mouthful. Delicious sauces and lovely chocolate truffles to finish with a perfectly good wine to wash it all down.
