Dear Management,
I trust this message finds you in good health. I am writing to express my profound disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to your store on September 11th, around 17:30.
On this occasion, I encountered a troubling situation that warrants immediate attention. There was only one cashier on duty, a lady in her 40s with brown hair. Regrettably, her demeanor was far from welcoming, and it was evident that she was dealing with frustration. What is deeply concerning is that I have witnessed similar behavior from her during previous visits, directed at other customers.
What stood out during this visit was her decision to engage in a personal conversation with a friend while there were no customers behind me, instead of efficiently processing my transaction. While I patiently waited for her conversation to conclude, the delay was quite frustrating as a customer.
To exacerbate the situation, when I attempted to make a simple €1.75 purchase with my card, she inexplicably demanded my passport as identification. Carrying my passport on a routine shopping trip is neither practical nor necessary, yet she insisted on it and even escalated the situation by calling the manager in an aggressive manner. It's crucial to emphasize that the item had already been charged to my account, and I sought a refund due to the unwarranted inconvenience.
In an attempt to resolve the matter amicably, I offered to leave the oat bar as a goodwill gesture. This incident marks the second time I have personally witnessed her mistreating customers, as another patron had a similar negative encounter on a previous visit. Her conduct left me feeling as though I were being treated like a criminal in an immigration office, an entirely inappropriate experience for a high-end supermarket.
I firmly believe that a supermarket of your caliber should consistently deliver a pleasant and courteous shopping experience. I implore you to address this issue promptly and ensure that your cashiers are trained to provide the level of service your customers deserve. Customer satisfaction should be the utmost priority, and I sincerely hope that my feedback will contribute to an improvement in your...
