Over a year ago I had successfully lost a bunch of weight. However, I had been depressed, in pain from my back, getting injections and medications on top of having anxiety. Then I became severely ill for months. I met Lauren at the start of my illness and she said to me “ Have you tried yoga?” I said only a few group sessions in the past and didn’t understand what I was doing . I said I think I would do best in a private session where someone can teach me directly how to feel the stretch properly , and not just move my arms and legs in any direction. Lauren said, well I’m your new yoga instructor! We started private sessions weekly, with homework!
You don’t just do yoga once a week with Lauren! You learn to practice on your own as well. She is there every step if you need assistance over the phone , text or short videos. Beginning of every session we discuss any physical or mental issues holding me back from being stronger. She creates stretches and poses directly related to those areas including breathing exercises which are amazing! Lauren trains you how to utilize your body with exercises that enhance your strength, flexibility, and balance in addition to your mindset.
I’ve been seeing Lauren weekly now for ten months. I look and feel fantastic, I have stopped all injections and medications for back issues. I now can use areas of my body I didn’t even realize were dormant. I feel so much stronger physically but also mentally.
She truly is a life saver. And she won’t give up on you . Lauren is a cheerleader. When you're down she helps you find peace through the power of yoga. I had a week where I hyperextended my knee, swollen, fluid. I called Lauren , I don’t think I can do class this week. Without hesitation she says “Why not?” She worked a routine around my knee and I was grateful she was there to encourage how much yoga helps. She’s all about self care. Listen, I’m 52, and you can start yoga at any age. Having the correct yoga instructor who cares about your health and wellness cheering you on to be the better you , that’s...
Read moreThis is no ordinary studio or fitness club yoga instruction. Be prepared to meet a warm, engaging and creative instructor in Lauren. Her unique approach will leave you feeling personally seen, heard and helped even in a group class. Lauren always finds a way to challenge your physical body while activating and engaging your mind. One of my favorite aspects of a session with Lauren is when she brings in poems, quotes or meditations and guides the focus of your practice. I always leave feeling refreshed and restored; the true purpose of yoga. If you can, be sure to join one of her collaborative retreats where you can meet other like-minded individuals. I had the lucky opportunity to attend one and found a good friend who I ended up traveling with just a few months after meeting and thus forming a life-long priceless bond. If you are ready to get outside the average studio experience and immerse in a fun, creative and fulfilling yoga session this is the...
Read moreLauren created an incredible 8 week series for myself and a group of friends. I went into the experience hoping for a fun way to relax and stretch with some girlfriends but it was so much more. We explored moves and styles in our practices that I previously would have been intimidated by, or skeptical of— Lauren has a unique ability to make each class accessible and enjoyable to everyone. She went above and beyond, including tailoring the music, essential oils and meditations to the theme of each of our classes. On top of the physical comfort of our classes, I found myself applying the relaxation, meditation and self care techniques from class into my everyday life which has been such a gift. If you are looking for any sort of physical or mental self care, regardless of yoga ability, Lauren and her...
