Hola! It is a sad day that I have to give Oklahoma 3 stars. I’ve been here before and this used to be my favorite brunch in Rota, but it has been a while since I’ve been here.
Let’s start with the food: The “garnish” was overdone. Everyone had to pick off all of it before eating their meal and it was kind of annoying. The brisket sandwich used to be full of brisket! This time they only put it in half the sandwich (which was cut in half) so imagine biting into one half and it is only cheese and no brisket. Everyone else stated their meals were the same 3 stars. Nothing to write home about and took a while for us to receive our food for us to be the only people in there.
Now for the service: One of the brisket sandwiches was supposed to be the strawberry sandwich but once we got our food the server did not ask us how we liked the food or anything. Everyone was kind of just on their phones waiting for us to finish.
The atmosphere is always good in there so no problems with that. The mango mimosa was also good. The prices have gone up about 3€ on everything and this experience was not great. If you have a taste for something on the menu then it’s okay to go but 100€ for 4 people is high for the food...
Read morePrices are ridiculous. €6 euros for a coffee that cost €1.40 everywhere else. I’m Mexican American from Louisiana. The food is bland as it is just about everywhere. I had the classic breakfast. They were out of sausage so they gave me over cooked fried chicken that was bland. The avocado was fresh tho, I did enjoy the waffle, sunny side up eggs, & hashbrown all could have benefited from salt tho. The waffle was perfect. The orange juice was delicious. The hot chocolate was quite literally warmed chocolate pudding. With marshmallows and Nutella on top. The Mac and cheese comes with flowers and sprouts on top so beware. It was also lacking salt/seasoning. And the noodles were harder than Al dente. It’s cool they allow you to draw on the table. They seem to think overly smoked bacon and Mac is flavor. It tastes like you’re chewing on a campfire. We definitely will not be coming back. The prices were the highest I’ve see and we have literally been to a steakhouse that was...
Read moreWe got a fairly simple order because initially we were attempting to maintain a budget, but WOW!!! The portions were INSANE when it came to the fish and chips…I mean we essentially struggled for both of us to come close to finishing it. Two giant beer battered, flaky fish portions with the normal helpings of aioli, Cole slaw and malt vinegar. The pitcher of Sangria help ease us right into the atmosphere that surrounded us as we decided to play a couple games of Adnuno (UNO for the Americans in the room). The hostess was bright eyed, sweet woman who explained everything before the questions would’ve inevitably flowed which allowed me to lay back and enjoy my partner. Can’t wait to return to this area so I can try other dishes that I saw zooming by me. MUST COME LOCATION! Sorry no photos, but I will make sure to capture...
