Mercadona — Local services in Torrevieja

I visited the supermarket while I was on holiday with family members it's a large typical supermarket similar layout to the ones in England as I've mentioned in previous posts it's helpful if you can understand a little bit of Spanish and speak a little bit although most of the items you would recognise just by sight for example Coca-Cola will be called something else but you know by the Brand and the colours and so will certain cereals biscuits and fruit and if you are able to speak Spanish I fully recommend you look at the fresh fish counter lots of fresh fish there to buy I was quite surprised when I went to the frozen section I found Pukka Pies from Thurmaston Leicestershire did not expect that at all, obviously it's an import but wow Pukka Pies in Spain...

A large Mercadona with plenty of room inside and a huge carpark. Easy access and parking with other useful shops, cafes and chemist nearby. All the usual quality Mercadona products are here with special offers sometimes especially on Saturday evenings. Really great fresh food sections here including one of the best fresh fish counters in Torrevieja. Try the new James Webb whiskey at only €5.95 a bottle it's the best lower priced whiskey I have ever...

Estimados directivos de Mercadona: Quisiera expresar mi decepción por la atención recibida en uno de sus supermercados. Les ruego que presten atención al comportamiento de algunos empleados que, lamentablemente, no siempre muestran la educación ni el respeto que los clientes merecen. El cliente es la persona que cada día confía en ustedes, realiza sus compras y contribuye al crecimiento de su empresa. Por eso resulta muy triste ver actitudes de desprecio o incluso comportamientos racistas hacia los clientes, especialmente hacia los extranjeros. Durante mi última visita, la cajera empezó a revisar cuidadosamente todos los productos de mi carrito, con una actitud como si estuviera intentando ocultar o robar algo. Fue una situación muy desagradable y humillante, ya que a ningún otro cliente a mi alrededor le hicieron lo mismo. Me sentí realmente ofendida y sorprendida. Les pido, por favor, que tomen medidas y realicen una formación adecuada a su personal para que comprendan la importancia de tratar a todos los clientes con respeto, amabilidad y una sonrisa —sin importar su nacionalidad o apariencia. El respeto hacia el cliente es la mejor publicidad...
