Natural Climb VLC — Local services in Valencia

So... if it is your first time, maybe they could work on taking the time to explain a little better about the place. Entrance fee is about 8.50€ per person. Plus it’s 3€ per person for shoes which the person at the front counter didn’t mention. So we had to line up again. You pay and enter and that’s it. You figure it out yourself. There is a color coded track marking on the wall that tells you easy to difficult climbs. They don’t give out chalk. The facility itself is clean and well lit. There is also an outdoor section but we went on an overcast cold day. There are seating areas if you’re not climbing. There is a small snack bar for beers, coffee snacks. Would have been nice being your first time there if someone took the time to explain to you. There were a lot of adults climbing, guess that’s their “gym”. Staff should wear a uniform to stand out and if they see someone lost, guide them or give them tips on how to climb 🧗‍♂️. Or how to use the equipment. This of course was a great experience but it could have been better. Definitely a great place for all, kids and adults. But if you can’t do one pull up, hmmmm, you might probably just want to watch.

I recently visited a climbing gym in Valencia and wanted to share my thoughts. First off, the gym isn’t particularly large, and it doesn’t feature the huge, towering walls you might expect at some other facilities. However, this isn’t necessarily a drawback. The bouldering areas they have are excellent, especially for beginners and mid-level climbers. The routes are well-designed and offer a good challenge without being overwhelming.

The gym’s atmosphere is another plus. It’s well-ventilated, ensuring there’s plenty of fresh air as you climb. This is crucial, especially during intense sessions. Additionally, the boulder paths are clearly marked, making it easy to follow and understand the different routes available.

One aspect that really stood out to me was the evident ongoing expansion. It’s clear that the gym is investing in its future, gradually building more facilities. This promises even greater opportunities for climbers of all levels down the line.

Overall, this gym is a fantastic spot in Valencia for anyone looking to get into climbing or to continue honing their skills. It’s welcoming, well-maintained, and holds a lot of potential for growth. Definitely...

The place happens to be the only big climbing gym in Valencia but I feel like they are doing this for themselves and their paying customers are just sponsors of their expensive hobby. They consistently close earlier despite selling "daily" passes, the changing rooms are filthy and constantly wet, there's never any soap in dispensers and their prices are just insane for what they offer. I regret buying a yearly subscription with them as it's not worth the money despite being the cheapest option for frequent climbers. I really wish they get a proper competitor to finally start considering the needs of the customers and not just their own comfort. And the registration process for a person buying a one-time pass is just a freakin mess. To access their gym for a single "day" one's required to give them a ton of data and waste a ridiculous...
