We had an incredible experience with this tour company! We booked a private boat trip with friends, and the price was surprisingly affordable—better than shared boat rates. Although they only operate in Mirissa, they arranged a seamless pick-up and drop-off for us from Weligama.
The team took extra care to serve breakfast tailored to everyone’s preferences, which was a nice touch. We were fortunate to spot whales multiple times, and the boat crew stayed out until we were completely satisfied with our experience. As we were returning, we noticed that only a few boats were still on the water—proof of the extended time they dedicated to our tour.
At the end of the day, we realized we’d forgotten a bag in a tuk-tuk. The owners quickly tracked it down and made sure it was safely delivered to us in Weligama. They were humble, friendly, and truly went above and beyond. Highly recommend them for a personalized and memorable whale-watching experience! We had an incredible experience with this tour company! This is the worst company I have ever come across! My son(5 years old) and I had booked a fishingtrip for Deepsee fishing (price 300$). The owner showed me a picture of the boat, and promised me that there was good fishinggear for Big fish catching and also food/drinks. The tour started out being one hour late, because the tuktuk to pick us up was “broken”. Then we went to the harbour, and the big boat that we were promised was also “broken”. So we went on a very little boat. They brought two fishingrods and TWO very small LURES not suitable for big fish. There was max 30 meter line on the wheel!! Not at all suitable for Big fish either which is obvious If you know a little bit about fishing. Fortunately I had brought some of my one gear from home. So we had to use my rod, wheel and lures!!!!!. This was not part of the deal. The food was a banana and watermelon, and NOTHiNG to drink!!!. The company do not care about the environment, the crew just threw plastic and other things in the ocean. My son said, that this has been the worst trip EVER! We were both very disappointed that we waisted both money and time on this. I confronted the owner who sold the trip to me. He said that everything was ok, and the fishinggear was good:-( And watermelon is both food and drink!!!! I asked to get some of my money back. He promised me 50 dollars but never showed up with the money as agreed. I wrote to him on messenger and complained again, and he got aggressive and said that I was a “F..king gay” and he hoped that i will die!. Do not book any tour with this company. They LIE and do not care about the environment. So do not go on Whalewatching with them either. They polute the ocean and treat their...
Read moreThis tour company was recommended to us by our hotel host. We were put in touch with Randika, and we spoke to him on Saturday evening, and by Sunday 6am we were being picked up from our hotel by tuk tuk, to the Mirissa harbour. When we got to the harbour, we were greeted by Randika and we made our payments. The boat was nice.. we chose to sit in the front at the bottom, and were happy with that. We were offered sandwiches in a box for breakfast, and limitless water. Later on cakes and pineapple slices were served. The boat ride was relaxing and we saw turtles, dolphins, flying fish and the highlight was a huge whale that appeared right next to our boat. Everyone standing/sitting next to us saw it, and before we could take good photos, it was gone. A few of us exchanged Whatsapp nºs to share each other's photos of the whale. Exhilarating experience. At the end we reached the harbour where Randika kindly drove us to town instead of our hotel. We would 10/10 use this tour company again, and gladly recommend them for Whale...
