Great atmosphere on the whole island. Boat from Slussen arrives in front of the brewery. Many kinds of beer to choose from and of higher quality. The food was only ok. A bit dry.
The staff weren’t bad, but they seemed a bit distant and not very caring of their costumers. Not that anyone did anything bad or anything, it was just the vibe that was a bit off.
I had higher expectations of both the beer and food, but except the atmosphere of the island and the brewery/restaurant (which was great), it didn’t really live up to the hype. It’s clean, it’s crisp, the staff are helpful, you have plenty of beer to choose from (they sell samplers) and it’s on an island. What more do you want? Worth the visit.
Note: be certain you’re on the right boat to this island. We were pointed to the wrong boat so ended up doing an hour long harbour tour before getting the right one. Obviously it would take more than that to stop us visiting...
