I had booked a table for me and my girlfriend at 18 o'clock which, after a few minutes of wait, we were seated to. We get out menus and when the waiter comes to our table we order a couple of beers, one appetizer and two main courses.

We are promised water and bread, but it appears our table is ignored and after about ten minutes we ask for some water, and soon after this we are actually served some water and bread. Still nothing to be upset about. Our beers come in and everything seems to be going quite well.

One of our waiters (the guy who appears to be in charge) asks us if we could switch to a different table because some older folks have just arrived and they would like to sit under a parasole (which we currently have). Naturally, we move our seats to a different table so that the new guests can have our table. And then we wait. And wait. And wait.

We finish our beers and about 30 minutes after we made our order I head off to the bathroom. When I come back my girlfriend tells me the other waiter has just asked her if we ordered an appetizer. Obviously our order was forgotten, however this information, as well as an apology, is not given to us. We wait for about 10 more minutes before our appetizer arrives (from yet another waiter). The appetizer is very good, which I feel I need to mention so that anyone reading this won't think that I am just complaining about every little detail.

Now, usually at a resturant after a guest is served an appetizer the main course is served quiet soon after. This is sort of the idea of an appetizer (to tease one's appetite). 30 minutes after our appetizer we ask our new waiter what has happened to our main course. Did something happen when we got moved to a different table? Did they forget about us? We are promised this is not the case. Another good 15 minutes passes and our waiter now comes over and tells us our main courses "are coming".

We wait for another 15 minutes and for anyone keeping track of the time it is now 20 o'clock (two hours after I booked the table). Our boat leaves in 30 minutes and we finally get our main course from yet another waiter who also, confusingly, asks us if we recieved our appetizer yet. Now these were 295 crowns each and we can both easily agree this is not great. It was obviously cooked hastily, with barely any seasoning or flavour. Trust me on this one. We eat out a lot and this was just beneth contempt, especially considering the price.

We finish hastily since we need to catch our boat and ask for the bill. Our waiter comes over and my girlfriend points out that we had to wait for about 1,5 hours for our food. Our waiter instantly agrees, and rushes of to the waiter who appears to be in charge to negotiate the price (we greatly appreciate this gesture; finally an acknowledgement that this is not the way to treat guests). He comes over and explains that, yes, when we were moved to a new table things got a bit "messed up" and so they have decided to give us a discount. 400 swedish crowns. "Wow, that's very generous", is what goes through my mind. That's almost half our bill. He hands me the card reader and I realise the are charging us more than 1200 crowns. There is no way our bill could be this expensive, especially not after a discount of 400 crowns. We look at the bill and can confirm that two items are there that we did not order, driving the cost up about 600 crowns. I ask the waiter about this and give him back the bill. He takes the bill and leaves without apologising. He comes back with no real explanation as to why they tried charging us items we did not order. And the discount is now about 200 crowns, because he was deducting a percentage of the price. This nonchalance just felt like one last slap in the face.

I just wanted to share this because I had high expectations from reading most other reviewers, who apperently had a great time here. I suppose we might have just been unlucky, but I wanted to notify others who consider going here of...

Vi möttes av brickor med upphälld kall glögg, när vi ankom. Det kändes lite trist. Istället för att ha brickor fyllda med redan upphälld glögg i små koppar som står och blir kall borde de ha någon annan lösning speciellt då Det är väldigt svalt i entrén. Dock var det väldigt trevligt att se alla sillar på julbordet så jag glömde snart bort den tråkiga glöggen.. Även om jag tycker det är väldigt synd att de rökt Matjes filén här, som är så god i sig, var det ändå ganska trevliga sillar. Någon i sällskapet tyckte om prinskorvarna emedan någon annan tyckte att de var vedervärdiga. På dessa bord fanns någonting för de flesta smaker. Jag var glad att se att det fanns alternativ för vegetarianer och vad jag tror även veganer. Vi bad om knaper stekt blodpudding,, som var en specialbeställning men fick en geggig blodpudding. Även lutfisken kommer som specialbeställning och även den lämnades tyvärr nästan orörd, då den inte smakade speciellt gott. Dessutom var kvaliteten på det man lagt upp på julbordet väldigt blandad. För tyvärr var det flertalet rätter som de hade haft frysta, även då det inte passar sig för just de råvarorna. Det är nämligen ganska förvånande att stoppa sill tårta i munnen som är grynig och vattnig kan jag berätta, Det känns inte speciellt trevligt alls!! Jag fick totalt tre rätter på mitt fat som hade varit (felaktigt behandlade), alltså frysta, som alla var lika gryniga och vattniga i konsistensen. Jag åt inte så mycket den kvällen på grund av en sen lunch och på grund av jag fick spotta ut en hel del förfärande tuggor. Då jag sannerligen inte smakade på speciellt många rätter undrar jag därför hur många av dessa rätter som upplevdes lika tråkiga som de jag fick. Jag skulle inte gärna vilja äta julbord där igen. Servicen var bedrövlig från servitrisen som hade vårt bord, hon hade väldigt svårt att förstå den simplaste drink order. Även då den upprepades tre gånger emedan hon skrev ned den och repeterade den för oss, så blev det fel. Det kändes lite frustrerande för Den var sannerligen inte komplicerad och hennes oförmåga gjorde att vi kom i otakt och fick vänta med att både hålla välkomstskål & sen inte fick sjunga snapsvisor innan det blev rätt I glasen för sällskapet. Även kvaliteten på vissa av de andra kunderna i lokalen var högst tveksam. Liksom aggressiva gubbar ute på kill middag, som antagligen är både olyckliga med kvinnosläktet & dricker för mycket. En annan sådan kunde man tyvärr råka ut för vid buffé bordet. Sådana möten kan verkligen lägga sordin på stämningen. Allt detta gav som sagt ingen mersmak, vilket är väldigt synd på en sån mysig miljö och utflykt som det ändå blir för att ta sig dit en...

We had lunch yesterday and the place was lovely! The water front terrasse makes the whole difference. Food is good but for the quality pricey (for instance, a local beer would be about 8-9 euro, and a starter of medium size portion between 20 and 30 euro). Service was "surprising" to say the least: we asked for a place by the water, they put us in the middle of the terrace where there was passage of people and no breeze despite tables being available; we asked for bread and they told us they finished despite we seeing bread being served to another table (another waitress to whom we asked fixed the problem and got us some bread and crackers); we had a shrimps starter and we were given the small side plates usually for bread.
