MelchseeFrutt is, first of all, a very family-friendly place. The distance between the tracks is not that far, so you can enjoy your red or black routes, whereas your kids may exercise in blue and beginner’s zones. The only downside of the snow-area is the descent from the hill to the valley. The track has deep/high bumps and for beginners on ski and snowboards, challenging. It makes the descent funny for the sledgers, but not for those on one or two “bars.”

Great location for beginners looking for somewhere to try snowshoeing. Fairly easy and well signed paths to follow with spectacular 360 views. Good facilities, including cafes and shop incase you need to top up on supplies before you head off. Family orientated and well organised.

Bellissimo posto in montagna per passeggiare ed esplorare la natura. Simpatico percorso a tema marmotta per i bambini, completato il quale viene consegnato un piccolo premio. Passeggiate per ogni tipo di esperienza, molti parchi giochi, aree picnic e barbecue, ristoranti e anche possibilità di pesca nel lago. Raggiungibile solamente con cabinovia. Consiglio di portare sempre un impermeabile o un ombrello perché il tempo cambia velocemente.

Vorab: Die Leute, welche dort Beschäftigt sind, sind total freundlich! Das Skigebiet ist furchtbar! Man muss mehr laufen als das man fährt🤷🏼‍♀️ Stellenweise muss man sich an Seilen festhalten um weiter zu kommen, anstatt dass man gescheite Lift hin setzt…

Auch als, in meinem Fall, Wiedereinsteiger, ist man gezwungen Schuss zu fahren, wenn man nicht laufen will. Das Ergebnis: ein gerissenes Sprunggelenk… Die Pisten sind teils mit Tiefschnee übersät, ich glaube da wird nicht mal planiert… Fazit: nie wieder! Das Restaurant oben auf dem Berg hat auch...
