We went to Frutt Titschli after a hike to Tannensee. The view from the restaurant is phenomenal, especially when the weather is nice you can sit on the terrace. The quality of the food was decent compared to the price we paid. Unfortunately, one of the staff members spilled coca cola on me and my jacket. She excused herself profoundly and rushed to get a wet cloth and cleaned everything. In general, i can recommend this restaurant for a sunny day to enjoy the good weather and view from the terrace.

Achtung! Hier muss man mit Hunden essen! Wir haben im Hotel - zu dem das Restaurant gehört - ein paar Tage verbracht. Ich hatte mich auch sehr auf die Restaurants und die mit Preisen ausgezeichnete Küche gefreut. Daher hatten wir direkt am ersten Tag dort reserviert. Was wir dort erleben mussten, ist mir noch nie passiert und hat mir den Appetit gehörig verdorben. Im Innenraum des Restaurants (wohl gemerkt nicht draussen auf der Terasse) wimmelte es von Hunden, die sich schüttelten so dass man die Haare fliegen sah und sogar gegenseitig anbellten, damit man sich regelmässig erschrecken konnte. Die Krönung war eine Kellnerin, die einen Hund streichelte und dann weiter Speisen und Getränke servierte. Es ist mir unverständlich, wie man das als Betreiber zulassen kann und dass sowas von der Lebensmittelkontrolle erlaubt sein soll. Zum Essen: Es war gut zubereitet aber auch keine Offenbarung. Die Portionen eher überschaubar aber mit Vorspeise ausreichend. Nachtisch haben wir wegen den Hunden nicht mehr gegessen. Preis-Leistung eher durchschnittlich. Zum Service: Wenn er nicht mit Hunden gespielt hat zuvorkommend. Leider musste man zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptgang recht lange warten.

The food was really good, above my expectations for a restaurant near ski slopes. I had the Cesar salad with the pike perch which tasted amazing. The desert was ok, though I cannot say that it was a big hit for me. The dishes were from their fast lunch options. The stuff was really friendly, they also informed us about weather changes from later in the evening.

Titschli is the "non-gastronomic" restaurant at the frutt Lodge in Melchsee-Frutt. Decor is nice but the welcome was a bit "fresh" (although we had a reservation) and we were packed in one area a number of other tables were available at the time. The view on the lake and the mountains is nice as well.

Table service itself was courteous. Our salads were drowned in dressing and not particularly remarkable. Mains were good, my wife enjoyed her salmon very much, my chicken breasts were good but nothing to rave about. Desserts were just ok, on par with the salads.

All of that makes for a 3 course meal at 80 CHF per head with 1 glass of wine. Not that bad but not that good either. There is surely a cost to a remote location like this one, but i am more critical of what we got served than the price we paid for it.

The main restaurant for guests staying at the Frutt Spa and Family Lodge. I had dinner here on a busy Saturday evening at 20.00 Restaurant was full of guests whith a lively atmosphere. Had made a reservation and our table was ready at the agreed time. Menu carries the usual international and Swiss dishes. Food quality is good, taste and servings size average. As it was busy staff were overstretched, they remained friendly and professional. There was quite a wait before the order was taken and again before the food was served.
