Honhui Plaza — Local services in New Taipei

It’s one of the largest shopping centre around New Taipei City and situated 400 metres away from the nearest MRT station, Xinzhuang Fuduxin (exit 2). Despite its rural location, thanks to the Taoyuan Airport MRT, many people find the place amazing and relaxing to eat and shop around.

The Miranew Cinema and VR Zone lie on the 8F. Food court and a variety of individual restaurants are on the 7F. Aside from that, there are also many other restaurants in other floors and my favourite restaurant is Paradise Dynasty on the 5F, which is the same floor as children area and Uniqlo. The supermarket, Daiso, bakeries, TGI Fridays, and some souvenir shops are situated on the B2F.

However, I sparsely visit this place because I live in Taipei City and it approximately still takes about an hour to get here by the MRT even though it’s convenient.

HONHUI PLAZA is a large shopping mall located in Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City, Taiwan.

It is the BOT project of Xinzhuang Au MRT Mall invested by Honghui Group. It has 31,000 square meters of shopping space and introduced 400 brands. The cinema is operated by Belle New Cinemas and exclusively introduces Japanese entertainment brands.

It will set up the performance venue "Zepp New Taipei" under the Sony Music Group of Japan, and the virtual reality experience park "VR ZONE NewTaipei" under Bandai Namco Holdings, in 2020 Opened on September 26 (trial operation on July 31).

PROS Variety amount of restaurants and coffee shops. Transportation (plenty of options MRT, Bus, YouBike)

CONS If you are going for shopping, it might disappoint you, It does not have much brands you expect from a shopping mall. Poor internet signal inside the mall.

This mall is more for ppl who live around the area, providing food, super market and little shopping options which is absent in the region.
