Our family of 3 (2 adults 1 child) stayed here for 7 nights, we used this as a base to attend a week long ballet event at Xinzhuang....and also headed out to the city and tourist attractions...
Checking in and out was a breeze, overall hotel reception was friendly, professional and always willing to help if we needed directions, calling taxis or anything in general. Hotel was quite full during our stay, with a good mix of professionals and tourists so comfortable. I liked the coffee machine in the lobby that was complimentary and there's a vending machine for drinks/snacks.
Hotel is pretty new, rooms are clean (we stayed on Level 25 with an extra sofa bed), good views, comes equipped with a good range of amenities, even a clothes steamer. We were worried about power sockets but they had the ones we could easily use our devices and chargers without having to get adaptors. Take note they don't make up rooms daily (which goes along with the sustainable theme) but if you need to do so just arrange housekeeping and they will also top up toiletries, change towels etc which we easily did. They sometimes use 'robots' to deliver stuff which was quite novel.
Guest rooms are on Level 5 to 25, there's a swimming pool/fitness centre on Level 3 that we didn't use and Level 2 is a play area for children and event space. Breakfast is served at Doricious on Level 1, a really good and worth it spread and attentive service.
Hotel is at New Taipei City, surrounded by residential units and well connected by expressways and a typical 15-25 min taxi/Uber ride into town area like Ximending or main city. Traffic gets a bit heavy during peak hours especially on the freeways so do plan ahead as it could double your travelling time. I think the nearest metro is the New Taipei Industrial Park station which is a 5 to 7 min walk away. It takes 45 min to scenic spots like Jiufen and Keelung.
There are a few convenience stores (7-11, Family Mart) within walking distance and Honhui Plaza which has shopping, supermarket, cinema, nice foodcourt on Level 7 which we visited a few times. We used Uber Eats as well which is really convenient.
Overall, a nice establishment, pleasant staff, clean and spacious rooms so definitely recommend it if you need to be around the area. We usually stay in the city so was a different but good experience...

Read moreThe 10 of us booked 6 rooms and stayed for 5 nights. Room is big with huge window from ceiling to floor but overlooking next door apartment. The automated blind and sheer blocked the bright sunlight in day. Room is big and clean but I am not used to the soft mattress and heavy but flat pillows. The elevator is a bit slow and you need to be very patient with it. |The hotel is located in the residential area with 8 mins walk to a shopping mall with lots of eateries. It's a shame that the supermarket was under renovation when we were there. Do note that it only opens at 11am. Convenient stores and subway are also about 8 mins walk away. The airport express subway line runs here and is just 4 stops from the airport and 1 stop to Taipei Main train station. You can do check in at this subway station. As this line is different from rest of the subway, you need to walk a bit to connect to the rest of the subway to other parts of Taipei. |The restaurant is not part of the hotel but they do offer special price to hotel guest. Just approach the concierge for a coupon for buffet breakfast. The coffee machine at the lobby is a bonus. |I'll stay here again if my budget allows and also if I have my...
