This is probably the biggest farm in downtown Taipei. A diverse variety of plants and a small pond full of fish and turtles. Many different birds also gather here. Its a small eco system inside...

風箱樹／茜草科 《老子、第五章》：「天地不仁，以萬物為芻狗；聖人不仁，以百姓為芻狗。天地之間，其猶橐籥乎？虛而不屈，動而愈出。多言數窮，不如守中。」其中的「橐籥」（ㄊㄨㄛˊ ㄩㄝˋ）即是「風箱」的古老名稱。 在早期的農業社會，鐵器是日常生活的謀生工具，而打鐵使用的「風鼓」就是利用風箱樹的木材製作而成。 又名：水芭藥（葉型酷似芭樂葉且喜好濕生水域）、水楊梅、珠花樹。 落葉性灌木。具多數分枝，小枝具毛茸。 葉對生，卵狀長橢圓形，革質，全緣。側脈7-9對，中肋及側脈於表面略凹下，而於背面顯著隆起。 頂生或腋生的頭狀花序。花白色，具香味，吸引各種訪花昆蟲取食。有人說風箱樹伸出花冠之外的雌蕊形似冠狀病毒的棘蛋白，大家以為呢？ 果實為由多數小分果所組成的聚合果，每一小分果含種子1枚，成熟時會開裂。 根部有清熱解毒，收濕止癢之效。 早期是先民重要的護堤植物，種在溪流土堤邊，以穩定堤岸防止崩塌和侵蝕。因為近年來的溪流、田間溝渠的水泥化，遭到大量砍除，因此植株數量急遽銳減。 《台灣維管束植物紅皮書名錄》列為國家極度瀕危的等級。
