Kariakoo Market is the biggest of its kind in the country. However everything has remained local. After the improvement on cleanliness which was pushed by Minister Mrema in the early 90s, the rest have remained so so. Parking is a huge challenge. If you arent accostomed to such hustles you wouldnt want to go there just because of poor parking. Upon entering you would expect there would be signs yo direct you to where you need to but no.. it is trial and error, unless you are familiar with where what is sold.
