Rissa, Lumumba St. — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

Didn’t have a very good service from our lady server she took our order for 3 chicken biriyanis only to come back after 10minutes saying it’s over when I asked for chapati n maini she said there’s no chapati I asked for chips she said there’s no chips.

We were then interrupted with a male server giving us more options ordered 3chicken pilau and we got cold beef pilau (actual PCs of beef) with fried chicken pieces on the side and biriyani masala with beef inside it on top. It was like whatever was remaining was just put onto our plates. Very very disappointed with this what if I was allergic to meat or I was a Hindu who doesn’t eat meat??

I have always had good reviews of Rissq but very much disappointed with the service and food.

We were told biriyani kuku is 12000 per portion and chicken pilau was 14000 per portion...

Was not satisfied with the service nor the food I ordered one smoked bomb something like that which came in a nice bomb shaped vassal inside there was a piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream from which the cake felt like 3-4 days old and with out forgetting i was with a kid and there were 6+ staff just sitting around and non of them bothered to help us look after our daughter so we could eat...

Worst experience. Literally the waiter not responding to issues since he has already served food on table,reason? Said he is paid per number of clients attended so has to attend new customers and bother less with ones on table.

Space is an issue and main reason is lots of tables occupied by people just passing time...
