Tanzania Inside and Safari — Local services in Kilimanjaro

I've traveled all over the world. I've seen unbelievable beauty, antiquity, beaches and mountains - I've seen a lot of our planet. However, I just had an EXPERIENCE in Tanzania and the Serengeti. I saw a small ad from Tanzania Inside and Safari and by chance, clicked on it. It looked amazing so I researched this little tour company. I met Joseph, the owner, who custom created an experience for my husband and two of our friends. We chose the luxury package which meant comfortable beds and showers! We flew into Moshi, stayed at a boutique hotel that Joseph chose for us, then began our photographic safari.

Our guide, Laurence, knew just about everything. He seemed to have a sixth sense for where the animals would be. And he knew the names of the birds, which was important to us. I'll post some photos but truly, Laurence knew where to go, his instincts are superior due to his experience as a guide, and his love of nature. He was part of the magic.

We went in late April and early May. This is off-season or shoulder season. There were very few jeeps and little dust. It was so green because the rains had just ended. I would NEVER go during peak season. Why? Dozens of jeeps full of people and dust. So much dust. We had dust whenever a jeep passed us and Laurence asked us to imagine never ending vehicles kicking up dust. We highly recommend late April and early May.

This tour was affordable, personal, tailored for us, and unforgettable. I have never had an experience like this before. We booked our honeymoon trip with Tanzania Inside and Safari, and it turned out to be one of the most magical experiences of our lives. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and tailored to us.

We chose a one-day safari in Tarangire, a trip to Serval Wildlife, and an excursion to Materuni. From the moment Steve and Gilbert picked us up at the airport, we felt well taken care of. They drove us straight to Tarangire, where we had the most incredible safari experience. Steve is very knowledgeable and skilled at spotting animals. We saw lions, cheetahs, giraffes, elephants, and so many more. Lunch prepared by the team was delicious, and the hotel they booked for us afterwards was very comfortable and welcoming.

The next day, Jackson picked us up and took us to Serval Wildlife, where we had the unforgettable opportunity to feed animals and even pet a lion. It was truly magical. From there, we continued to Materuni, where we enjoyed a traditional lunch, made coffee with the locals, and then hiked to the Materuni Waterfall. Even though I’m not a big fan of hiking, Jackson and Gilbert were so supportive and encouraging throughout the walk. And I must admit, the waterfall was breathtaking. The photos came out stunning, and the experience was absolutely worth it.

At the end of our journey, they made sure we were comfortably driven back to the airport.

From our very first contact with Joseph to meeting Steve, Gilbert, and Jackson in person, the entire team was professional, kind, communicative, and attentive to every detail. They made our honeymoon truly special, and we are so grateful we chose to book with them.

Family Safari in Tanzania We traveled as a family to Tanzania my wife, our three children and I and the experience far exceeded our expectations. The trip organization by Tanzania Inside and Safari was excellent in all aspects: the itinerary was very well designed, the selection of accommodation was of great quality, and the development of the safaris proved impeccable.

I would particularly like to highlight the work of our driver, whose professionalism, punctuality, and friendly treatment were constant throughout the journey. His driving was always safe and responsible, something we especially value on a family trip. In addition, he showed admirable attention to detail, keeping the vehicle clean and in perfect condition every day. His attentive and cordial attitude contributed significantly to making our experience in Tanzania unforgettable.
