Super unprofessional. They take your money and then no body arrives to coach you on the arranged time. I had an appointment today at 10am. Once again no body come to train me. (Second time this has happened to me, the first time it happened they messaged me 5 hours later on IG saying the coach had been in a bike accident, however the coach was ready to teach the very next day) Regardless, today the main coach arrived at 10:40am and asked me for 100baht but I said I didn’t bring money and I already paid for a class today. I told him I had an appointment at 10am, but he is 40min late and that I need to leave at 11am because I have a flight to catch. He got mad at me and started shouting at me, he said that he is here to train me and now I don’t want training. He was 40min late, asked me for more money, then started shouting at me to leave and get out the gym. I told him I paid for a VIP class for today at 10am, I will leave at 11am even if I just hit the bag by myself until 11am. He got super angry and aggressive. He shouted at me to leave the gym, then he proceeded to kick my shoes and things on the floor. He picked up my water bottle and threw it. He said I stole the water from him, but I didn’t. I bought it at 7/11 on the way to the gym this morning. He also then recorded me packing up my stuff saying he is going to show people that I didn’t come for training when I’m literally sweating from hitting the bag by myself because no coaches arrived 😂 main guy whose pictures are all over the gym is a jerk junkie.
While I was there, there was another person who had also paid for a class and once again no coaches showed up to train him.
100% DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM if you’re in Kamala. Try Nava or take the drive to Bangtao instead for more professionalism.
UPDATE: Their response to this review was misleading to new customers. Multiple potential clients were let down by no coaches showing up, they DO NOT adhere to strict guidelines and appointment times. Very disappointing and unprofessional. This club has no idea how to do business and the main coach/owner is a jerk. He kicked my shoes like a child throwing a tantrum and shouted like a lunatic for me to get out of the gym after not being on time for a session I had already paid for. Save yourself the headache of dealing with someone who acts like a child, and go...

I visited Kamala Muaythai with my 4-year-old son as we were excited to introduce him to the world of Muay Thai. When we arrived, there was only one Thai coach present. I had a friendly conversation with him, introduced myself as someone who previously ran a Muay Thai gym in my own country, and even I asked about the owner of this gym.
When the owner eventually arrived, I greeted him politely and expressed my appreciation for the his gym. But to my complete shock, he suddenly poured cold water on me and began shouting aggressively in Thai language and demanding why I was speaking to the coach instead of him. This happened in front of my child, who was terrified and confused. I was humiliated for absolutely no reason. I told him my son is here he started throwing the water again and saying leave “this is my gym” with a disrespectful manner.I immediately took my son and left.
This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional—especially in a place where families beginners and fighters may want to introduce to the sport and art. I filed a police report regarding the incident.
I’m leaving this review, to warn others that this is not a safe or respectful environment. A gym is supposed to build discipline, not fear or humiliation. I have deeply involved in muaythai I came to Thailand and even had fights in Thailand for more than 15 years went to Bangkok, koh samui , Phuket, Pattaya Ayuthaya all over best muaythai gyms in Thailand this sport is about respect. not infront of a 4 years old child doing this behavior the owner acts as if he owns not only the gym but the people inside it—treating them however he wants, without any regard for dignity or decency.
the owner should reflects on this and learns to treat people with basic respect and human decency.
I know now for the sake of review he should reflect on his own actions instead of blaming others.
Respect is earned,...

Booked 3 private sessions of 1hr. And payed for all 3 of them after 1 session. First session ended after 45 minutes. The training was good and hard, but not the length of what I payed for. Second session should’ve started at 9am. At 9.25 the trainer showed up, looked like he was sleeping in the office or something. He did not say anything besides telling me to warm up. Again, training session was alright. Third session I had to cancel because our flight changed. The trainer did not have cash for a refund for the already payed 3rd session, and told me to come back at 1pm. Showed up at 1pm, and told me to wait for 20 minutes, because someone would come with the refund. After 20 minutes no one showed up, and the same guy came quite agressively and told me to show QR-code of my bank. But as it is European, he can not pay with Thai bank. He told me to come back at 3PM if I want my money, and it’s up to me to come back or not. He then told us to leave and not come back.
Because I did not know what to do, I asked the police what to do. They told me they would come with me, and then when the police showed up the same guy was being friendly all of a sudden. He then finally gave the refund.
I’ve visited a lot of Muay Thai gyms throughout Thailand, but I’ve never experienced something this bad. The atmosphere from the beginning was not friendly at all. It’s far from what I am used to from the friendly Thai people. Would not recommend this gym, and would not...
