Best burger in Thailand, confirmed! If you find yourself in Phuket, Thailand, you absolutely cannot miss out on Supparat!
As a foodie and proud cheese burger enthusiast from California, USA (a place famous for incredible cheese burgers like In-N-Out), I can confidently say this place serves the best cheese burger I ate in Thailand. Not only is their cheese burger unreasonably delicious, but everything else I tried was incredible as well, including their Thai dishes.
When I read the other reviews highly praising their burger, I knew I had to check it out. From the moment my husband and I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff made us feel welcome. The ambiance is perfect for both casual hangouts and special occasions, blending a tropical, industrial vibe with cozy comfort. We enjoyed our visit so much that we went back two more times during our one week stay in the area.
Now, onto the star of the show, the food. It is SO GOOD! I ordered the cheese burger every time we visited. The beef patty is juicy and expertly cooked, with just the right amount of char. The cheese is melted to ooey-gooey perfection. The secret sauce is excellently balanced. The toppings are fresh and flavorful. The delightful surprise of onion rings paired wonderfully. The bun? Soft yet sturdy, holding all that deliciousness together without getting soggy. Each bite is a harmonious blend of savory, cheesy, and slightly tangy flavors that dance on your taste buds.
Not only was the cheese burger extraordinary, but we were delighted to so throughly enjoy the other dishes we ordered as well, including: coconut curry dip with rice crackers, tuna larb, fried shrimp, and massaman curry with rice. As you can see by the pictures, each looks incredible in its own way. When you visit to try the burger, make sure to order one of these dishes as well!
I ate at many restaurants while we were in Thailand, but this one truly stands out. The attention to detail and quality of ingredients are evident in every bite. It’s clear the chefs here pour their heart and soul into their creations. I briefly chatted with one of the chefs, Poune, who mentioned they draw inspiration from many cultures to provide their own unique dishes. An example of this is the tuna larb which combines raw tuna seen frequently in Japanese cuisine, with Thai larb ingredients and flavorings to create a one of a kind experience.

Back to Supparat restaurant as we spent time here for 3 nights at IC near by. Chef pond is really nice. She told us to Pre-order whatever we wanted to eat and if the market sell those ingredients we would have it all! So, first day I called and pre-order vongole pasta and fish and chips. As expected, it was so damn good 😘. Dishes were super big for 2 people. We came again on third day and Pre-order tiger prawn and red snapper. Before main dishes coming, she gave us local steam fish in banana leaf and that’s tasty, too. So, now it come ….She cooked variety of tiger prawns for me and my husband to taste. Red snapper was very big that I thought I couldn’t finished it and I was right!. Chef pond is very mindful when she noticed that we couldn’t finish the red snapper. She offered to cook another southern dish for the remaining and guess what!!! It was so delicious..in thai word ปลากรอบผัดพริกขิง Crispy Fried red snapper with Ginger Chili 💋💋💋… love all dishes ..will...
Read moreNice, small and open air restaurant in Kamala where my family and I gather for dinner at least twice a month or opt for their convenient takeout service. With only two staff members—a talented lady chef who is the owner and a dedicated service staff—it's no surprise that during busy times, a bit of waiting is to be expected. One thing to note is that the owner may not be active on social media, so it's best not to rely on online platforms for updated opening and closing hours. Their Thai cuisine truly captures the essence of local flavors (Tom Kha Kai is recommended) and their European dishes and pasta are equally satisfying. But do keep in mind that this isn't the place for coffee aficionados, as their focus lies elsewhere. Instead, you can enjoy a selection of refreshing soft drinks like Coca-Cola or canned tea to...
