This was a surprisingly good meal for us in Thailand!! My brother and I went in on a Monday night for something different than Thai food. After being disappointed the night before at a restaurant across the street we decided to try this place. From the start, it was really good. They provided a starter of bread crisps with a chutney and yogurt which we really enjoyed! We got two apps and two main dishes.along with beer and wine. The pide was flavorful with a strong bell pepper taste which was so tasty. The lamb dish was beautifully presented and while I typically do not like lamb, was delicious in the tomato and yogurt sauce. The beef was cooked well and served with the typical onion, lettuce and cabbage sides which added a brightness to the entire dish. The rice served with it was surprisingly buttery and good for a white rice. Serving sizes were average and we ate every bite. They closed with a complimentary hot tea service which we enjoyed. Well, we went there just occasionally, after I found a place near me in Google maps. And we’re going to come again! VERY hospitable stuff, delicious national food, very interesting dishes I never seen before, very-very-very friendly stuff. After days of Thai food, we decided to give this Mediterranean restaurant a try.
Food was alright, I've had tastier Turkish meals than this but it was still generally ok. The Pide bread with spinach was not too bad. The chic pea dip however was rather mediocre.
Service was nice, staff could generally speak English...., so ordering food wouldn't be a problem.
Price was a little on the high side. The lamb main course we had was 380b which I thought the quality wasn't so worthy of the price.
Atmosphere was great, well lot and decorated....
