Thai Happiness Massage — Local services in Karon

Of all the places I’ve had massages in Thailand (Bangkok/Chiangmai/Phuket), I found this place does the massages the best. Between my partner and I, we’ve had 6 massages done here in total and we were both satisfied with the outcome of the massages- we felt relaxed at the end.

We found that the other places we’ve visited just massages without finding and correcting problems like RMTs in North America does. I also found that most other massagers don’t put very much effort on me or use much pressure because I’m a very petite person.

Thoughts about oil massage (relaxing): 400 baht/1 hour- this is our favourite since we actually do feel relaxed at the end. Note that the blanket they use to cover you is very thin so you might feel bare.

Thoughts about aloe massage: 500 baht/1 hour- we brought our own aloe and managed to negotiate this to 400 baht/1 hour. We also loved this since this came with a face mask.

Thoughts about foot massage: 400 baht/1 hour- they worked on the leg below the knee, foot, and finished off with a brief shoulder and scalp massage. I thought my massager didn’t use enough pressure for my foot that always feels fatigue despite asking for strong so I’m not in love with the foot massage. I’m not sure what the difference between a foot massage and their foot & shoulder massage, which is priced at 500 baht/hour. So it might be better value for just foot massage.

All massages end off with a complimentary small cup of tea and cold water.

Hello. Massage was really good. Can't say anything bad here. But here is one big "BUT". I had a massage on 28.12.23. In the middle of it my master started to cough really bad. She for sure had a flu or cold. She was wearing a mask, but you know, that massage is a close contact procedure, so with a high probability it won't help. She was coughing till the end. As a result I became ill on 30.12.23. I had a NY in Thailand with a temperature 38.4. Thank you very much for it. I am still struggling with the consequences. I am really disappointed with such service. If master is ill, then she should be at home resting, NOT INFECTING...

Been here twice with mixed feelings. First time the massage was really good and is the reason I returned, however I was left disappointed on my second visit. The massage was not relaxing, it was too noisy and it depends which masseuse you get. They also charged me for a 90 minute massage when I clearly asked for 60 minutes.
