Villa Boonta — Local services in Phang-nga Province

EXQUISITE!! My wife and I stayed at Villa Boonta for 2 nights for her 40th birthday.

We were picked up from the airport by their driver, it was a 20 minute drive from Phuket airport.

On arrival, we were warmly greeted by Cocoa the villa’s manger and our dedicated housekeeper Ja-Aey and were offered refreshments in the main building with a breathtaking view of the sandy beach, the ocean and the blue skies.

We were then given the tour of this magnificent villa by Cocoa. There were 6 almost identically designed units, 2 apartments in the main building and 4 bungalows outside. The interior design was elegant and luxurious, with spacious and separate living room, bedroom and bathroom. There is a fully equipped gym and a games room with a pool table which rolls over into a ping pong table and a table football.

The sandy beach is very clean and quite, we hardly saw anyone walking by. But be mindful of quite strong waves.

The staff were all so kind and attentive and made us feel like loyalty. We were served freshly made pancakes with fresh berries and coffee for our breakfast as we had requested. We had lunch by the pool from the Boonta Café menu next door. There is a wide variety of delicious Thai dishes and a few international dishes to choose from.

For the evening, we went to old town Phuket as recommended by Cocoa. Before leaving the villa Ja-aey noticed that my wife’s braids were opening up and kindly offered to redo them. The buildings in the old town are designed in colonial Portuguese style and there were so many options for shopping and beautiful cafes to eat and drink.

For the second and our final day, we wanted to try some local southern Thai food for lunch, so Cocoa recommended a famous local restaurant called Kin Dee. The ambiance was perfect and the food was delicious.

Also, for the same afternoon he recommended and arranged for us to visit Chee View Point. On our return to the villa Cocoa and his team surprised my wife with a delicious birthday cake which was made by Boonta Café.

All in all a fantastic experience, that we would love to repeat if finances allow.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa BOONTA!

The beach front villa was so nice! The beach had a beautiful White sand & well maintained (always clean compared to the beachfronts of the other villas nearby) The rooms were all clean and beautiful! (except the ants was too much on the kitchenette in our master bedroom but we didn’t really use the kitchenette so I didn’t mind)

The masters bedrooms had fridge in each room which was really nice! and a spacious bath areas.

The manager and the staffs were all very nice, friendly and accommodating. (although it was hard to communicate in English with them) 1 or 2 staff always stay until 22pm and make sure they clean the living area before they leave.

The downside for me was:

1.)The bathroom towels smells like fabric softener. Too strong that I can smell it on my hair and body after I use it. The pillows/bedding smells like fabric softener too. The villa manager tried not to use fabric softener on our pillows & bedsheets after I told him, however the smell was still there. (I’m aware that synthetic fragrance doesn’t disappear right away like that) Sometimes the bath towels are being rolled still damp and placed back to the bathroom.

2.) They do in house laundry which was nice. However the clothes came back not folded properly and very wrinkly. Plus they put my clean clothes inside the same bag that I used my dirty clothes…

Overall, we all had a wonderful stay! Thanks to all the staffs! and would love to go back someday!
