checked into a room that could only sleep 3 people. I went back down to reception to ask where the other bed were, They told us that they were fully booked so they didn't have the space for us all to have a bed, by this point im sure you can imagine why we were feeling very angry. We had been traveling for 10 hours.||We were asked to get into an unknown car with an unknown gentleman with our bags to go to another hotel, At this point my children were crying, scared, hungry and very tired. We arrive at another hotel, they wanted to take our bags out and leave us there. We asked to see the room first, at this point the car boot was open and left unattended with our valuable travel bags. I asked if someone would stay and watch them while we checked the room and number of beds to come back down and find our bags left unsecured with the car doors/boot open. ||the room can only be described as dirty and had a very bad smell with a pair of someone's sliders at the door. We believe this was maybe someone's staff accommodation. We refused to stay and asked to be taken back to Green life hotel. When we got back we begged for them to provide us with a bed. All they kept saying was 'tomorrow' a better English spoken staff explained that tomorrow we will have a room with enough beds and to apologise he would connect us all to the internet, which he only gave two out for four that was promised. ||That night I had to sleep on a hard tilled floor with a pillow about the size of a foot. ||The following morning, I went to reception to ask for a room so I could catch up on some sleep that I didn't get the night before. I was told to come back at 10am. Went back at 10:15am to say we had a room, we asked to have a look before we moved our bags. He said the cleaner was upstairs and they would let us in to have a look. We was given the room number written on a piece of paper. When we arrived we tried to speak to the cleaner who wasn't cleaning that room but was cleaning a room on that floor. She couldn't understand us and we couldn’t understand her due to a language barrier however she opened the room for us to enter. I couldn't believe my eyes, this room was full of someone else belongings everywhere. I actually had full access to someone’s room. I was given access to someone's private space so easily wow. ||I went back to reception to tell them this room is occupied by another family and I also shouldn't have been given access to this either. I'm absolutely furious at this point! ||I explained to the manager I wanted out of this hotel. My partner and children were in tears and everyone just wanted to go back home to England. ||Eventually we was given another room number, off we went to check this one. Finally we all had a bed each. We moved our things and settled into our room. ||I have never stayed in an all inclusive hotel where you pay for all inclusive the day you travel (even though you don’t get it) but we have always had something kept to one side for us on arrival. This hotel, not even a bottle of water. So late at night with problems with the room and moving hotels we then had to leave to hotel and go on a hunt for food and drink. These were my signs things were not going to be great but I kept up my hopes. ||Saturday morning we went for breakfast to see it wasn’t brilliant but it was ok as there was bread. How could you go wrong with toast. To then find we only had dry bread as there was no toaster or butter, the other options were very off putting with all the flies. This was slowly going from bad to worse but thinking we could still try make this work as we wasn’t 24 hours in yet. We left the hotel to find somewhere to eat breakfast. ||When we got back it was here we noticed there maybe a sun lounger issue, only 54 sun loungers for these fully booked hotels, I believe they have 3 hotels with 5 floors - not a chance is that going to work. Hey ho, we set up our towels on the tiled floor and tried not to be wound up anymore. ||We waited for snack in the hope this would be better. We watched the snack line go down to join the queue, when all 4 of us got there they only had two cooked burgers and no bread. Was told bread was finished and to share two burgers between 4 of us. A gentleman stepped forward (hotel guest) and said ‘bread not finished, these people need feeding’ the staff continued to say ‘no more food left’ we left the two burgers and That evening we hoped dinner was going to be better, nope! We arrived to dregs left in the bottom of trays, rice was probably our safest option but once that had gone the lid was closed and wasn’t replenished. We had to eat the awful scraps that were left. ||||Monday everyone’s towels were thrown in the pool including ours. When we spoke to reception they told us they have big problems, we got our towels and left the hotel for the day, we were feeling unsafe and very hungry. At this point my whole family had diarrhoea and wasn’t feeling well we were scared to also eat from the hotel as we didn’t want to become more poorly but we also don’t have to funds to keep eating out. ||||Tuesday, we all still have diarrhoea, this morning we thought we would get bread for breakfast and we bought our own butter from the shop as the hotel didn’t have butter. At 7:10am we thought to get a coffee and wait for breakfast to open at 8am. We asked if we could just get coffee and wait outside, when entering the food room to get coffee we saw all the uncooked meat was already out unwrapped with flies all over it, it’s a hot morning, my phone said 30 degrees. This same meat was out till 10am that’s 3 hours in 30/35 degrees heat, the meat/salads/cheese bars is not refrigerated in any way at all. Meaning this food is not fit for human consumption. The serving tongs of things like the cooked meat do not have a separate plate to put the tongs on after you have used the tongs. These tongs are placed back on top of the meat with the handle touching the meat that all the guests have been holding. This is all making me feel sick. Especially when I know that the closest hand washing facility is the filthy bathroom next door which hasn’t had any hand tissue in the whole time we arrived. Please let me explain why hand tissue is important for hygiene. You use the toilet, you then use your hand to flush the toilet so does everyone else, use the lock everyone else has used after there toilet visit too. Turn the tap on with your dirty hands, add soap, rinse hands and now you need a hand tissue to dry your hands and then use that tissue to shut the tap off to stop any faeces contamination by using that dirty tap again. This is the WC the staff use too and taking that contamination back into the food areas. ||One day for dinner they were serving chips, great I thought - we can all eat chips. When my daughter got to the chips they were served by a member of staff and was distributed so many chips per person. You was only allowed one tongs worth of chips. Last night my other daughter Lola went to get two scoops of Brussels and on her attempt for the second scoop she was told by a member of staff ‘no,no, no more’ that was the only thing she could eat from the options we had that evening. ||Breakfast closes at 10am and you have no access to any food till 12:30 when dinner opens. Every now and again (seen it twice) they put a snack on in between which one day it was… burger, bread bun, lettuce, tomato and tomato sauce. No knife to cut your bun, you have a member of staff tearing a hole in your bread with his hands handing one per person. My daughter didn’t want the bread but wanted the burger, we asked for a plate and was told no plate, take with your hands. Angry and hungry my daughter took the hot burger in her hands and moved it from one hand to the other till it cooled down. You couldn’t get another burger as they were all gone. Due to my teeth I can’t eat bread like this, I cut it with a knife but there was no cutlery available so I had to tear it with my hands. ||Was told yesterday pasta is tomorrow’s snack (Thursday) I thought - well that’s guna be fun to eat with no plate. I waited today to see what they was going to do but again to no surprise at all snack wasn’t on again. Lunch opened at 12:30-2pm so 1.5 hours you have hundreds of people to eat. Sadly during this time I’d called love holidays and started this email. As breakfast and dinner is 2hours I presumed lunch was too. I went back down at 2:10 and it was all closed off so I missed it and now have to wait 4 hours to feed my family. I asked at the bar at around 2:30 if a snack would go on and I was told ‘snack finished’ (I videoed this) it seems ‘finished is the favourite word of staff In this hotel. So today I’ve had two slices of bread and one boiled egg all day. My head is banging. I feel very weak my kids are starving. ||Earlier today it was around 36 degrees It was my turn to get the flat fizzy drinks. I went to the pool bar to be told it’s closed so I asked ‘ok, is it the restaurant bar’ he told me that was closed too. I asked how we get drinks, he told me no drinks for 15/20 minutes, I told him me family was thirsty as it’s hot he still refused to serve us any drinks. I had to walk all the way around to reception to complain and said ‘this bar closed, that bar closed so where can we get drinks. He made a call and said go back to the pool bar. I told him it’s closed and no staff would serve me. He said ‘try again, I went back to the pool bar yet again to find the staff wasn’t happy they were forced to serve me. One staff came back with a tray of dirty cups from collecting at the pool, separated each cup into the sink that had no water in. Another staff took one of those cups from the sink and started to fill my drink with it. I stopped him and said I wanted a clean cup, he said it’s clean, I said I’ve just seen him drop those dirty cups in the empty sink and you took it out. Please can I have a clean cup, I shouldn’t have to fight for a drink or a clean cup. Today has been torcher having food and drink restricted in these weather conditions. Having to wait from 2pm till 6pm for slop and fly infected contaminated food is soul destroying. ||One dinner time my girls forgot their drinks to bring to the table, Lola asked willow to get hers too. She couldn’t as the man serving this flat pop said 1 drink per person so I had to go get it. ||One of the girls went to the pool bar to get her’s and her sisters pop. Again she was told, drink that one and you can then have another. You can’t have two. I questioned this member of staff to ask why this was a rule, it’s all inclusive but he mumbled under his breath and walked away. This treatment towards my children seemed to get worse after we had recorded evidence like requested from yourself. ||||I also have photo evidence of hot food sat on trolleys not even covered up. ||||I complained to a good English speaking lady at reception regarding problems and she told me she knew what I was meaning and agreed it was poor but wasn’t in a position to do anything about it. This girl looked broken and we have never seen her again. ||I asked a young lad member of staff ‘would you eat this food’ his reply was ‘no, way’ I said it’s terrible and his reply was ‘yes I agree’ other staff told me the hotel was bad, the food was Bad and all the guests shout and him but you see, I agree it’s bad.||||Each time any form of food is opened we are lined up like a concentration camp or prisoners or like school children. ||I feel like I’m begging for food and drinks and I should be grateful for being served this repulsive food. I wouldn’t mind and I’d admit if I was a fussy eater but apart from fish we will eat anything but It has to be fit for human consumption and hold some sort of texture other that slop and throwing what you can together is just not ok. ||||One lucky morning there was pancakes - the joys! That’s how it was really getting, like a lottery win sort of feeling. I’m trying to hype the girls up. They are more than happy for them. One of my girls take the last pancake but it’s ok, we can see they are making more so all is good until the chef drops his spatula on the filthy floor, picks it back up and straight back into the pancakes and the pancake mix. Game over again, the pancakes are no longer a good option. ||The rooms are clean enough apart from the only time we get clean towels is when I find the cleaner myself and put my dirty towels in her bag and ask for some more. I can’t spend my days hunting down clean towels. The toilet is broken so we have to use the mechanical system to flush it. All lights and lampshades are rotten with rust and falling apart. We had chewing gum or something that looks like it squashed on our bathroom wall. ||||Entertainment: music comes on around the pool at 3pm ish. It’s a family hotel but still plays songs with bad language. Around 8pm they play songs like chichua, and other action sounds and a man shows them the actions. I don’t know if this guy changes or he does it all the time but seeing a grown greasy looking man blowing kisses to holiday makers little girls was enough to creep me out. Especially owning two children’s celebration venues of my own we are trained to be vigilant, to many things including paedophiles and grooming, blowing kisses like that would enter onto an alert list. ||The pools in a far too small to cater the amount of guests, ||The slides come on at certain times where guests can use and are not supervised by any staff, no one seems to take note of these safety instructions situated on the gate at the bottom of the slide. Belly facing sliders, even adults with 3/4 children sat on the adults back while he does down head first. This is huge safety risk not only for the alcohol fuelled adults and children but also to non slide users. ||its a massive accident waiting to happen. When slides are on other guests do actually do quite well to stay away from the bottom of the slides however because the slides are not staffed guests are still using these slides all day even when they are off causing collisions with people using the pool. Leaving the pool and unsafe place to be. The fizzy drinks are flat because these are bottles left out to get warm and lids are not put back on so even when you do get a Fanta/cola/sprite (unbranded) it’s warm and flat. Anything worth paying for is the coffee, I’ve been coming to Turkey since 2016 and this hotel has provided the best coffee yet. ||||I am so happy to announce we are finally on our way back to England!! The stress and illness is too much, the constant battle with food and drink, hunger headaches we are glad to be out of that hell.||We both run businesses which are very stressful so we travel quite a lot to revive and de-stress. I feel more stress being there than I do in England running three very stressful businesses. Our August family holiday has been absolutely ruined. I would be very surprised if this is your first complaint regarding this hotel and I would be very surprised if it’s your last. 100% miss sold a 4 star all inclusive packaged holiday. ||||I also Include Some Photos Of The Chipped plates & bowls, I owned a small cafe a few years ago and did training on what cracked chipped crockery can do to your health,||Please find images attached of unsafe pool & slides, fly ridden food, food uncovered at wrong temperatures, lack of food, broken toilets in our room & at pool side, no sanitisation in pool toilets to wash hands (basic hygiene) staff around without appropriate kitchen clothing, the list is...
Read moreWhen we arrived at the hotel room we were surprised, the lamps were rusty, barely hanging on the wall, only shampoo and soap in the shower (there is not even a shower gel), there was no hot water the first night, the towels were dirty and soaked, torn, the shower was rusty, the shower was covered with mud, there was no heating, and it was still very cold at night). We asked for a hamper at reception but they gave it to us without a cover. The slippers are from paper, and we have never heard of a bathrobe. Is it just that we have been 'rewarded' with such a room, or is it everywhere, but it is very loud in the room when the water is being flushed in the other rooms, and at night when it is quiet it is difficult to sleep.|The staff are rude, the barmaid speaks neither English nor Russian and is not willing to talk at all, she runs out of the bar every minute, so you have to run after her to ask for something. |I was surprised to see the housekeepers sitting on the stairs and smoking. The staff do not deal with the cat problem, there are cats wandering all over the area, which we know is common in Turkey, but should not be in the dining areas. Cats walk freely in the dining room and when eating, they scratch their legs and climb on the table. When we went out in the evening, we opened the door and one of them ran into the room before we could even slam it (first of all, they are not supposed to be in the stairwell), and when I went to the reception and told them that there was a cat in our room, the young man at the reception looked at me like I was crazy and then turned around to smile at his colleagues in the office. Well, I'm not afraid of cats, I'm just very allergic to their hair, and catching a cat in my room and then having to suffer an allergy attack was not in my plans. And anyway, they can leave hair in the room that makes my body itchy, my eyes water and my breathing disturbed. In the shower, there was a paper from a disposable cream that had fallen off and was even thrown around after the cleaning of the room, which shows how thoroughly everything is cleaned. | The food is the same all week, no fruit, only yoghurt and cereal for breakfast, the steaks are tough and you can see that they are not from the first day, and at the end of the week we found a long black hair in it too. They don't know how to make a living out of thrift anymore, because even the hot chocolate from the machine was sometimes diluted, and in order to pour the soft drinks we had to ask the same bartender who didn't speak any language. |Also, when asked what kind of cocktails he had in the bar, he said none, just beer and whisky. The board at the reception desk with the meal times is incorrect, so one night we went without dinner. ||The environment itself is tragic, with dry grass everywhere, the tables in the dining room are already very old and dilapidated, and there is a lot of dusty, dusty, rusted, dried flowers and leaves in every corner. Rubbish is piled outside the canteen windows and the same cigarette butt has been thrown in the stairwell for days. The scales for the suitcase are, I guess, an interior detail, as they don't work even after payment. There are some unclear things going on in the courtyard, noise since early morning, and a car is being cleaned and polished in the hotel courtyard. It was not reported that there was a garage in the morning. We were stuck in the elevator because the electricity went out, not a very pleasant event. As I said, they are going mad with greed, because even the water slide saves water and runs every hour for maybe ten minutes. The advertisement says that the sea is very close by, but you have to go through a busy street and an underpass, which is much longer, and the evening programme mentioned in the advertisement does not take place, except for the sewerage noises mentioned. |We didn't get any work done because the internet for a week in the hotel is EUR 15 for the device, so you have to buy a separate one for the computer, we lost weight because we didn't eat anything, we couldn't leave for a couple of days because we kept waiting to be evicted, we got probably the biggest bill of our lives on the phone, and we were...
Read moreI went with friend of mine to Turkey On the 25/12/2024 staying at the 4 STAR GREEN LIFE HOTEL,ALANYA TURKEY.And returning on the 08/01/2025. this was arranged for us by||( LOVE HOLIDAYS to be avoided like the Plague ) BE WARNED.And so the nightmare began. The hotel was damp, disgustingly dirty, the rooms were Appalling, the beds were unfit for dogs to sleep in,Dirty mattresses, dirty bedding, which was full of yellow stains, cigarette burns, they were so worn out ,they looked like the rocky mountains, and the smell was atrocious,We were in 2 separate rooms,My friend Danny who is 79 years of age ,spent his first 2 nights in a room riddled with damp and mold, the heating was not working ,and he was freezing cold, apart from the condition of the room and the beds,he got up in the morning ,and stood in a pool of water, the room had flooded during the night,i to am a pensioner,i spent my first 2 nights up all night ,in similar atrocious conditions, with out sleep due to the noise coming from the family of 7 next door making excessive noise all night, luckily they only stayed for 3 days, and they cut there holiday short, and managed to get a flight home.i then had one quiet night, and the following night i had to knock on the door next door, were i found a party of 8 smoking ,not sure what it was,but the noise was excessive all night.we were eventually moved, to alternative rooms, which were to say the least extremely poor.
