I recently organised a party for around 50 guests and bought all the meat from Matei Butchers. As a kind gesture, Mr. Matei personally came to my home to prepare and cook the barbecue — and what an incredible job he did!

Everything was cooked to perfection — from pork, lamb, and chicken, to the sausages and smoked meats. The flavour, the freshness, and the quality were simply outstanding. You can truly taste the passion and care he puts into his work.

Meat and service with a smile! Exceptionally clean 5* rating! Im all for supporting local businesses and this one I will return to! Very fresh local produce, the have a great deli selection of home smoked and seasoned meats! The butcher is Romanian so he knows what he is doing! The lamb and beef sausage is absolutely a winner, beautifully seasoned slight hint of chilli, i will probably put one in the air fryer and eat with a pitta thin onions and salad with some garlic mayo nom nom nom! Have been to Matei’s several times and have always enjoyed the produce. Tried several of the dried meats, delicious. The fresh meats have always been good quality and thoroughly enjoyed.
