Our recent visit to Bath City Farm left us enchanted by the delightful presence of chickens. Nestled within the serene landscape, the farm's chicken coop exuded a rustic charm that instantly captured our hearts. The chickens, with their vibrant plumage and endearing personalities, added a sense of warmth and authenticity to the farm environment.

Interacting with the chickens was undoubtedly a highlight of our visit. From observing their playful antics to gently petting their soft feathers, we found immense joy in connecting with these feathered friends. It was evident that they were well-cared-for and content, a testament to the farm staff's dedication to animal welfare.

Beyond their entertainment value, the chickens also provided a valuable educational experience. Children and adults alike were fascinated by the opportunity to learn about the life cycle of chickens, from egg to hatchling to fully-grown bird. The farm staff's enthusiasm and knowledge further enriched our understanding of these fascinating creatures, making our visit both enjoyable and enlightening. We left Bath City Farm with a renewed appreciation for the beauty of nature and a profound sense of gratitude for the opportunity to connect with its...

A good way to waste an hour or two with your little ones. Typical small farm. Nothing special with the usual animals that you associate with a farm and very hilly. There is a cafe and toilets on site and a play area outside the cafe. Didn't visit the cafe so unable to comment.

They did put on a really good Easter egg hunt for the children with a religious element to it before the hunt itself, which I thought was a nice touch and very unique as I've never seen it done like this. The guy who lead the celebrations was also very good.

The hunt itself could have been more thought out though. There were 48 plastic eggs in total, four different colours and had to be collected for everyone to get a prize..a celebration sweet! There were over 100 kids big and small. My two children who were 4 and 7 never found an egg or got a sweet. The smaller children never stood a chance. And an advisory £10 donation for a family for the privilege.

Done it so no...

We held a birthday party here for my daughter today and it was absolutely fantastic! Ros - the animal expert, kept the kids (and adults) well entertained and engaged on the animal tour/experience, she was very relaxed and really friendly! She told us all we need to know about each animal before letting the children feed and engage with them. We were then allowed to use the conference room to sit all the children down and feed them. It’s a lovely room with an even more lovely view of the city. All in all it was a brilliant experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who’s looking to do something a little different for their child’s birthday.

Also a note to add that the farm itself is such a nice place to be, it has a really welcoming, chilled feel to it, and you can tell that the animals, land and facilities are well cared for...

Really nice small city farm with a wonderful cafe. We visited recently for the first time since the new cafe building has been open. The farm was great, there are a good selection of animals to see and for £1 you can get a small bag of feed for the goats. The weather had been wet recently but the ground wasn't too muddy considering it's a farm. After 30-40 minutes looking at the animals we headed to the new (for us) cafe and play area. The cafe has a good selection of drinks and food. We chose from the breakfast menu and had really nice, well cooked food, and a couple of coffees. After a refuel we headed to the play area, again being new meant it was all in good shape and fun for both our 5 and 2 year olds. The farm is free to enter and you can donate an entry fee at the cafe to help the farm running costs.
