Beverly Beck has been an important waterway since the Middle Ages. It starts outside the Foresters Arms and runs to the river Hull. It is a very attractive walk, there is a road that runs down the south side of it, up to the lock gates where it joins the river Hull. The walk along the River is very popular with dog walkers, and near the Foresters pub there is a very informative sign telling you all about the beck. There is a boat club near the lock Gates with a lot of privately owned boats tied up along the edge of the river.
