The Crust Pizza — Local services in Bolton

Been ordering from here for 2 years now and sad to say I’m seeing it’s decline, 3 times I’ve ordered and each time the pizzas have been overloaded with cheese and have been literal slop and undercooked on the bottom and not cut correctly either but on this particular occasion I ordered the generic “hot” wings, I bit into one and instantly teared up, I spat it out in immense pain, my lips are currently swelled and bruised and my throat is swollen and swore and I threw up due to the pain and discomfort my stomach was in. I’m a man that enjoys a Vindaloo or a Vaal from the curry house but these wings were straight from hell itself, they were absolutely coated in a raw chili paste/sauce and also had chilli flakes on them too, they was completely inedible. The restaurant needs to make this clear on how spicy these really are because I’ve suffered physical injury from them and would hate to think somebody going through what I’ve just been through. I wouldn’t mind but it isn’t a cheap place either. I’ll be avoiding at all costs from now on which is a massive shame as I was saying at one point “you need to try Canadian charcoal, it’s the best in Bolton!” Not anymore.

EDIT: the reply from the restaurant is absolutely ridiculous, I, the customer have to mix my own wings with its own sauce? Isn’t that the restaurants job when preparing the food? That wasn’t the issue, the issue was how sickeningly hot the sauce was, it’s caused me injury and harm with a photo attached as proof! Is it also the customers job to cut their own pizzas too? Been a regular here for years usually order the same things but took a chance an decided to try the chicken wings .... bad mistake they came drenched in chilli sauce to cover how black and burnt the outsides where only to discover after eating a few the insides were grey an bloody so binned the rest. I woke a few hours later violently vomiting , belly cramps and a fever i then spent the whole next day in hospital being treated for food poisoning When leaving a review on justeat i was expecting some sort of apology but to my surprise they just kept deleting my comments. Im just glad it was only me that ate some and not my children as i dread to think how this would of affected them

Respose to owners reply: My problem wasnt how black they were i understand grilled chicken is suppose to have a little black these were completely black my family are regulars at ordering your wings and have never seen them the colour mine were!! MY problem is the insides they were grey and red 🤢 and put me in hospital. Food poisoning IS a tragedy that needs addressing before someone else gets as seriously ill as i still am! We ordered: • Cheese & bacon wraps. There was very little cheese and none existant bacon! • Portabelo mega burger. Well it consisted of 3 standard burgers 3 plastic cheese slices and about 4 sliced mushrooms on a burger bun and no sauce for £7! Nothing special at all. Bun was soppy at the bottom. • Hot dogs were ok, onions hid behind the hotdog. • Chicken strips. They forgot them! They had to go back and get them!
