Disgraceful experience – screw found in food and rude staff!

Me and my uncle had a truly awful experience here. While eating, he discovered a one-inch metal screw in his food which is completely unacceptable and dangerous. When he brought it to the staff’s attention, they sniggered instead of expressing concern or taking it seriously. It was clear they thought it was a joke.

Worse still, a young lad with curly hair at the till responded rudely when my uncle tried to complain. He said, “It is what it is,” and told him not to “show attitude.” Absolutely no professionalism or accountability. He may need to take up some simple customer service training in order to brush up on his manners.

No one offered an apology until my uncle specifically asked for one and even then, it felt forced and insincere. A serious safety hazard was treated like an inconvenience.

We were in such a state of shock that we didn’t even think to take a picture, we just wanted a refund and to get out of there as quickly as possible.

Will not be returning, and I would urge others to think twice before dining here. Cleanliness and customer service clearly aren’t priorities.

It’s not about “having a go”, it’s about holding people accountable when something unacceptable happens which unfortunately people get salty about. What can you do when there’s 18 year olds running the business.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food as I had high expectations considering they have a few stores in thr UK. I live 5 mins from this place so I got there chicken burger box meal with chicken loaded fries and donner loaded naga box, the food was not fresh at all, soon as I opened the chicken box, I swear I could have counted the fries on my hands which were soggy and tasted stale to then try the chicken that was on the fires which felt like it had been left fo a few hours, cold, dry, soggy and tasteless. The chicken burger was even worse felt like an amateur who was trying to make his first chicken burger was given to me, dry, rubbery, tasteless and cold. Then the donner naga box topped it of with it being dry, luke warm and chips soggy as hell. Mr Fries is the name and loaded fries is their concept so you would expect fresh fries to say the least but I was left disappointed as my daughter did not even like th like the food and she is mot fussy. A normal back street takeaway does fresher and better tasting quality food, nowadays it's just the name, brand and advertising which this place is worth no quality and what do you expect when you have 18 year old kids running the establishment on national...

I went to Mr fries with my son and neice today. Half way through my meal, I noticed something black and one inch long. On closer inspection it turned out to be a screw, I was totally shocked and taken back. How could such a thing end up in anyone's meal. I was lucky that I noticed it or else I could have eaten it and possibly got stuck in my throat or even broke my teeth. I made the staff aware and told them that I'm not going to make a fuss, but the young lad behind the counter with the green eyes told me that it is what it is and not to have a attitude.
