From the initial enquiry, the communications with Chris were both speedy and accommodating. I really wanted a Chef who would not only come in to cook a pre-wedding dinner on the Friday, but return Saturday morning to accommodate a running brunch to ensure everyone had been well fed before the proceedings. This was in a hired barn accommodation so I had no idea how well it would be equipped but Chris loves a challenge. We were a party of 12 for dinner and last minute allergens were responded to with a no problem attitude. Chris worked with me to create a menu that reflected some of our sons favourite dishes with everything cooked and served perfectly. Chris arrived in rural Essex at 18.45 and by 19.45 the room had been transformed and we were sat with a fabulous amuse bouche in front of us. In talking to Chris we found out he is a Private Chef, and so my wife booked him for part of my 60th Birthday celebrations. What a fabulous evening we and our guests had! Our menu comprised delicious canapes and three courses from Chris' Autumn menu. Our vegetarian guest was well catered for, with full flavoured dishes. Not only was Chris' food amazing, our guests really enjoyed chatting with him and hearing about his culinary journey of 25 years. Some photos attached of Chris' stunning food. From the moment Chris arrived we didn’t need to lift a finger! So well organised and it wasn’t just the food that made it special. The table was decorated beautifully with quality glassware, cutlery, and crockery. The centre piece was stunning and really transformed our dining space (all set up and provided by the chef). The food was exquisite and the dietary requirements we had within our party were no problem at all. Three beautiful courses with the ingredients and construction all explained to us as it was served.
