Bethel Witham — Restaurant in Braintree

I came across this nice little place. I was taking a daily walk into town whilst on recovery and happened across this establishment, and after reading the little menu that's in the window, saw it was reasonable priced for food and drink. After going in I was made to feel welcome by the lady running the cafe. I ordered a pot of tea for one and as it was a little quiet, we had a chat. I learned that had been open for 14 years (who knew? Well me obviously 😂). I returned on Friday and as I am off for a little bit longer, will hopefully pop in again. Food is reasonably good . They appear nice and friendly. However, when you dig behind this place, they are out to convert the weak and vulnerable. They are not LGBTQIA friendly. There are no female pastors. A patriarchal dump run by men for men and women are door mats....

A fantastic community café. Lunch was delicious and the menu had lots of variety. All very reasonably priced. Everyone was extremely welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Will definitely be coming...
