visiting from New Zealand, and everyone spoke of how in England even your local spot will serve a good curry. A group of 3 who live in Auckland and we've got some good Indian where we come from and we weren't disappointed. We had the place to ourselves but the delivery drivers were coming and going. Very nice food and the sole guy serving us was good. Even got a beer from the dairy next door and had it with us haha. I had a horrible experience at this restaurant and i recommend no one visits it. I had first rang up to reserve a table but instead of expecting a polite reply they had hung up on me, i then rang back and they said "no i've already told you, why are you making me repeat myself". My friend really wanted me to go with her to this restaurant so i decided to go and when we reached there it took about roughly 15 minutes for them to give a table and then half an hour to be served the food and when we did receive the food my friend found a long brown hair in her curry. Extensive menu, within tired and dated decor. Ultimately it's the food and service that counts, both of which sadly did not live upto our researched expectations. Food was bland (lamb biriani was flavourless and not authentic), and yet the waiter was clearly disappointed that we only ordered a biriani and two naans. Are poppadoms obligatory in an Indian restaurant restaurant?

Shame on you Google for recommending this place as an exemplar for our favourite dish.
