I'm really sorry to have to leave you a bad review, I thought I'd try you as my usual place was closed. I live about 8 miles away and rang for a collection (after trying to order on your website... when I got to checkout it didn't let me pay so I ended up calling) Upon collecting my order for 1 when on your website my order came to £12.25 it had added the 15% discount on collection. When collecting order it was £14.65 apparently I didn't qualify for the discount as my order was under £15. Ok fine whatever. The guy didn't have a clue how to use the card machine, and with current covid situation, I wanted to use contactless and I wasn't keen on touching the card machine but finally decided to help him how to do it, (and even offered to pay cash) to speed up the process. Paid. Got order. Got all the way home and my cheese naan bread wasn't there. Fml. £2.95 down the drain, I rang just to moan as I'd driven over 16 miles there and back and to the guys credit on the phone. He did offer to deliver me my naan bread, but I don't think he realised how far I actually lived so I declined and said I'd mention it when ordering again. This was before the curry and rice itself. The pilau tasted the same as a supermarket.... That's not me being dramatic, it was a simple fact and I don't like supermarket pilau rice. Tastes too much of cinnamon bark. The CURRY was the worst part, I ordered the lamb tikka rezala and it was pure oil and the lamb tikka wasn't of the best cuts, alot of grissle. It's a shame as I eat alot of Indian. We've not been for a couple of years but I'm so glad we came back!! Delicious food, great service. And most importantly it's not a one pot wonder place. Myself and my husband ordered different dishes and they had their own unique flavour and ingredients. Honestly one of the best curries we’ve ever had! The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. The man at the front of house was a perfect frontman for the chefs and was engaging and personable. My father and husband had their favourite, the naga, and we all shared a couple of Baltis. The breads, subsides and rice were perfect accompaniments. Great value for money too. 2 vegans and 2 vegetarians couldn’t be happier with this...
