Absolutely shocking and disgraceful customer service. I only asked if I could borrow a pen to sign a card I was buying, and the staff member at the counter reacted with anger and blatant disrespect - right in front of my young sibling. I felt humiliated and completely unwelcome.
I reluctantly purchased the card, but in hindsight, I should have walked out. The staffās behavior was not just rude - it was aggressive, unprofessional, and utterly unacceptable. This shop needs serious training in customer service and anger management.
I will never return, and I strongly advise others to avoid this place. Shameful doesnāt even begin to describe it; the overall experience was appalling from start to finish...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat can I say apart from⦠what a find. Iāve always had a soft spot for a āhole-in-the-wallā hidden gem and this place certainly meets the criteria. What appears from the outside to be a run of the mill little corner shop, is in fact a top-notch deli/sandwich bar serving up some of the best, and most unique, wraps Iāve ever tried. I went for The Plough. A delicious combination of Indian-spiced lamb, aubergine and yoghurt/mint sauce. Packed with flavour and very generous to boot. If I lived more local I can guarantee Iād be eating here at least once a week. As I donāt, Iāll just have to make the occasional pilgrimage as a treat. Either way, Iāll be back for sure! Keep up the good work...
Read moreGood selection as corner shops go. Fresh Indian snacks are good although often samosas are filled with lots of potato. Staff are sometimes lovely and friendly but other times busy talking to each other and you can feel like you're not stood at the till waiting to pay. My main issues with the shop is the £4 minimum spend on card (& count your change if you pay with cash). Secondly, the wraps from the deli counter are very tasty although filled with a lot of salad/cabbage and little protein/main filling for the price that you pay (£8.50 for a large wrap). Unfortunately I won't be returning for the wraps, but still a useful convenience store in the community...
