A Peaceful Day at Agnes Park Yesterday, I took a refreshing walk through the serene paths of St Agnes Park, and it turned out to be just what my soul needed. As I entered the park, I was drawn to the calming sight of ducks gliding gracefully across the water. One particular duck caught my attention—it flew up and perched gently on the rooftop of a nearby house, a rare and beautiful moment to witness. Others remained in the water, swimming calmly and adding to the peaceful ambiance.
I walked slowly around the field, letting nature do its work in refreshing my spirit. The open space, the breeze, and the rustling leaves offered quiet comfort. I couldn’t resist the swings—yes, even as an adult, I took a few moments to feel the simple joy of being lifted by the air. I found a small spot for a quiet picnic, enjoying the stillness and the sweet beauty of the day.

Read moreCame here to take the kids to the big adventure play ground they can see from the M32 to find it's a separate entity, fenced off with its own opening hours (staffed by volunteers as I understand it). The kids were initially disappointed they couldn't go in but we did enjoy the rest of the free, 24/7 park with its smaller play ground and sandy pirate ship for a couple of hours.
