My 12 year old son enjoys the pump track at the park as well as the half pipe and play equipment/outdoor gym.
It's a lovely park for a walk, but can get a bit blowy as it's quite exposed higher up, however it's a great spot for flying a kite.
If you're feeling intrepid and like exploring there is a great walk or cycle trail through the woods.
