Morrisons — Local services in Doncaster

One of the larger stores I could see in the M chain . Access off the A638 York road.There is a large car park all at one end of the store. There is plenty of disabled parking and even walkways in between to keep pedestrians out of the traffic . There are two main entrances to the store . One facing the car park and has a Timpson locksmith next to it . The other door is the main entrance but mainly for foot traffic as it’s around the corner from the car park . The foot walkway around this side of the store is quite wide and segregated from the road by a low wall . At intervals the wall is opened to allow pedestrians through , but there are bollards to impede access for anything else . This in two places including my wheelchair !!! .The main entrance facing York Road also has the pop up (seasonal) garden centre in it . There are 3xATM on site , and these are located a good 20/30 yards passing the cafe windows which I thought was a bit far until I realised that they were opposite the petrol station too. There are dropped kerbs but no footpath access to petrol station. Cars stopped here either on way in or out tho . The store itself is large and spacious and fitted out in the now very familiar Market Street style The kiosk for lottery, cigarettes and newspapers is on the left as you go in . This is great especially if you don’t wish to shop in store . The butcher baker, etc taking up space on the walls and the fruit and veg along the middle . Everything was easy to get to and all is flat and level throughout. There are plenty of tills along with a manned customer service area . Customer toilets and a separate disabled toilet 🚾. For all of August 2020 most eateries are giving a 50% discount on food and drinks every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Morrisons are offering it seven days a week, very generous. There are a lot more discounts over all the store too. Between me and my girls we had the biggest breakfast on the menu, four extra hash browns, two slices each of white and brown toast, fresh orange juice, two chocolate ice cream milkshakes, a large tango and a bottle of lucazade for less than a ten pounds! The breakfast was yummy. My girls also enjoyed it and they can be quite difficult to satisfy. It was very busy when we visited so, unfortunately, we did wait about thirty minutes for the food to arrive, but it was worth the it. This store has a salad bar, hot food bar offering cooked chicken, bacon hocks etc. There is a butchers, bakers and a fish monger. Also a large variety of everyday foods. There is a large florist area with a variety of beautiful flowers. A great clothing section, not massive but all nice and reasonably priced. It has a petrol station which is reasonably priced too, often cheaper than other fuel stations in the area. It's usually very easy to park. This is for the online shopping experience of the last 10 days. 1st order went as it should.2nd order was cancelled.No live chat! No working customer service number! New 2nd order had to be made! 3rd order was messed up due to Morrison trying to take the payment from the card of the 2nd order not the one used to make 3rd itself! They delivered it anyway somehow? We didn't know what was happening until too late because suddenly this morning all their emails went into my junk file! After 10 days of going in my normal inbox!! Another issue with this order! The substitute was higher in price than the item purchased! Also it had leaked allover our shopping we'd discovered on arrival! There isn't a choice to switch substitutes off in the settings to stop this from happening! After our experience's ,I've sent them negative feedback!Unlike Sainsbury's (who instantly refund items) Morrison are taking 2 days to consider one !
