Naaz Indian Restaurant & Takeaway — Restaurant in Doncaster

I’ve always heard really positive things about Naaz so we decided to try it. I was told how busy it gets so we went at a time I thought it would be quieter (Sunday at 8pm) They only take cash which is annoying. Who carries cash anymore? Then we ordered. There was only one type of beer. Less than 5 mins after we ordered our popadoms came. We finished then no break in between starters came. I ordered onion barji. It was awful! It was definitely frozen and reheated. The onion was raw, it was very mushy and tasted very chemically. 4/6 of us had finished our starters then they cleared the table. How rude when people are still eating! Then 5 minutes after starter main came. There was only three tables it and it felt very rushed like they wanted us out. My main ,I ordered Chicken Tikka masala I thought was really nice, very sweet. A very deep red. Then we ordered pudding. I ordered Cookie and cream pie. I read the description out and never once did it say it was ice cream. It came and it was solid frozen it was so hard to eat. Our awful and I mean awful experience. Was £150! Hugely gone down hill, it's now bring your own alcohol but soft drinks are avaliable. Corkage fee applied of £1 per person wether you buy soft drinks of not/bring alcohol. Also cash only, no card accepted. On a Friday night the place was empty by 9pm we were the only table left in the place.

On to the food, well starters were not very tasty, side salad was just raw cabbage. Chicken in both dishes was very bouncy and seemed like cheap pre cooked frozen chicken peices, like something in a microwave curry. Tbh it was terrible, wouldnt want to attempt to eat that again. Wasnt asked if we wanted to take the food or if something was wrong as not eaten.

Myself and partner left both of our mains as the quality of food was in all honesty terrible.

While we were sat eating food, lots of just eat drivers waiting, so it seems this is now more of a takeaway rather then restaurant grade food. Tbh the quality of the food would make it a poor takeaway.

Ordered large amount of food to the value of nearly £50.... Waited an hour and half. Driver did not arrive. Order status was showing delivered on just eat. After waiting further I contacted the restaurant who was the most rudest person I have ever dealt with in customer service! He spoke down to us! Whilst complaining just eat takes half and he can't help me because just eat are in charge because it's got nothing to do with them. He wasnt interested. Felt like an attack even though I paid for my meal. I use these on a regular basis but sadly won't be using again as we are left with no food and no refund and genuinely disappointed! Won't recommend anymore. The owner or staff don't care about how they treat customers. I'm a business owner in Doncaster and it's been awful service.
