Decided to attempt this hike with literally no experience. Purchased some walking boots a few hours prior and off I went. I read that this hike can be challenging without experience, but I do like a challenge. While I read that the Langdale Pikes has had some fatal falls over the years, the weather was very good.

After a couple of hours, I managed to reach the submit solo. The views were amazing and well worth the climb. I also passed up and over Harrison stickle on the way to this peak before moving over to loft craf before my decent, both of which were also worth doing.

Parking was very difficult as both car parks by the pub were completely full and no other parking close by the base of this hike. I actually had to move a cone and squeeze in. Parking isn't cheap but still not too bad if you make...

Stunning location, beautiful scenery, well worth a detour from Little Langdale back round to Chapel Stile (with a stop at Blea Tarn on the way). Thoroughly recommend.
