After visiting the bigger more well known chain/industrial estate stores and seeing the same old same old, we came across Christies Furniture Exeter and were immediately impressed with the amount of choice available. The store did not look very big from the outside but inside, they certainly had packed in a fabulous display. It may have been luck but we were able to find a dining table and chairs that fitted the criteria that we had been searching for elsewhere for over 2 years. The store staff - Daniel - was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, even when we had rearranged chairs from several other areas in order to make sure we were happy with our choices and fetching a bench seat from the upstairs display too. After a long time searching I finally found the perfect dining chairs 700 miles away from where I live! (Utopia Boucle chairs in pale blue) Not even sure if it was possible to have them delivered to us I contacted a lovely salesman called Ollie in Christie’s who made it his mission to make it work for me. He contacted the warehouse for a delivery price, he measured everything we asked for, he kept a record of everything in the system and he patiently waited for me to decide if I could make them work with the height of our new table. Very happy after our purchase of six dining chairs from Christies Furniture Exeter. It was easy to pick out exactly what we wanted from the large selection of display stock in their showroom. When we ordered stock availability was checked and we were given an estimate for when the chairs would arrive and decided to have them delivered rather than collecting ourselves.
