Caprinos has always been a go-to for me for pizza, but after today's experience, I wouldn't eat there again if they were giving away free food. I ordered a £23 meal, and when it arrived, the garlic bread was missing. A simple mistake, but the way they handled it was beyond disgraceful.
I called to report the missing item, only to be met with the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Instead of apologising or making things right, they had the sheer audacity to suggest I could just have it with my next order. What kind of nonsense is that? I don’t pay for food in advance for some hypothetical future meal. When I explained that my wife and I had been fasting all day and needed our full order, the woman on the phone (who was shockingly rude and completely lacking in basic decency) could not have cared less. She flatly told me I’d have to wait an hour because they were "busy." So, in other words, their mistake was my problem.
I asked if I could at least get a refund or some form of compensation for their incompetence. Of course, that was refused too. Then, when I asked for her name so I could file a complaint, she outright refused to give it. That alone speaks volumes about their unprofessionalism.
Eventually, they promised to send the garlic bread within 20 minutes. Surprise, surprise, it took a full hour. By that point, the meal was ruined, the entire experience soured, and my patience completely exhausted.
This place clearly does not care about its customers. No accountability, no remorse, and absolutely no respect. Other restaurants at least attempt to make up for their mistakes. Caprinos, on the other hand, seems to think they’re doing you a favour by simply giving you what you already paid for.
