Monsell Chippy — Local services in Great Britain

Went to hear first time since change of owners and there new uniform saying Andys chip shop.

I stood near the door on entry for about 30 seconds as due to quite a few customers being scattered over the shop and I didn't know who was waiting and who had been served. The man raised his voice and said to me if u want to come In, come in but if u don't then come away from the door as your blocking the door. I would have appreciated if if he didn't say it with raised voice and an angry face and body language.

All the staff looked sad and angry, no one was greeted. No smiles, looks like abunch of sad workers.

No please and thank yous, bo politeness.

Food is bland and much better with the two previous owners before. No asking for salt and vinegar.

Won't be coming back and I have hear a few people say the same but witnessed it for my self today.

Hopefully they learn from this review other wise they shall loose...

Absolutely delicious!! Literally just finished my first Sturdee Plaice Fish & chips and it was that good I'm leaving a review and will be phoning them after for another thanks. Usually visit a closer chippy in south wigston and have been a favourite of traveling to welford road but this was such a genuine authentic experience this will be my place to go from now on. So i was driving past ans smelt heaven, decided to pull in and have a look, met 2 nice people had a laugh then came the food. Now i only had a piece of chicken and i habe to say.....its probably the nicest piece of sfc iv ever had in my life!!! And i mean that it was that nice i nearly ate the bones aswell. It was so juicy and nice tasting. Fumin its not in my local area. For the owner its liam well played on the chickem my man uv made a life customer out of me and you will 100% see me again.
