Carleton Cemetery & Crematorium — Local services in Great Britain

We attended the funeral here. The service went as arranged, just a little delay. The sound was clear. The area is surrounded by graves and trees with a car park around the building. We didn't notice disabled parking. Signs to direct people to the rear may help. Being on the front row, we noticed how dirty the floor was, plus how dusty all the bench surfaces and woodwork were, once you've seen it... This isn't good when we want to be thinking of mum. It was even noticed that the lectern dust was disturbed by fingerprints and dirt behind it on the floor. The trees could not have made this happen in a few days or even weeks, I doubt. Covid has made us all more aware of the transfer of disease. It's still a danger, especially for vulnerable people. No hand wash to be noticed. We did not want to be having this...

I'd just like to say that the funeral that taken place at Carleton cemetery on April 5th 2024 in respect of my mother Donna Janine Hall ( whom arranged everything at Layton funeral directors on onslow road) did an me and family and friends all so very proud so I thought I'd show them my respect bk in given them 5 star's ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because it was an immaculate send off . thanks once...

Visiting mum and dads graveside today I saw Mick mowing and tidying the overgrown grass between the gravestones. He is a volunteer who regularly keeps the grass neat and tidy and what a wonderful job he was doing ....thank you it's much...
