Whilst the car park was fine and the staff were more than friendly, the signage around the waterfalls trail was pretty poor. We ended up taking several wrong turns because of this, and wasted considerable time backtracking and asking people for directions.
The directions favoured ramblers and hiker markers, with numbered posts with no clear indication for the novice tourist where to head to the next waterfall; nor were there any information signs with clear pictures and names of the waterfall in view.
3 out of 4 falls are down some steep stepping (some of which are under ongoing maintenance at the time of typing this).

There were facilities when we visited during a school holiday week. But its a port a loo, so dont expect a lot. Walking to waterfalls is via a marked trail. The walk is worth it as the waterfalls are great. I saw several dog lovers take their dogs to get a nice swim in the shallow streams. Read moreThis is probably the best place to park for the Four Waterfalls walk as it is free and closer than the 2 National Trust car parks to the north (£7.50 parking fee). There is also a £5 a day car park just up the track about 100 metres away if this one is full. Parking is available for about 6-7 vehicles, so get there early to try and secure a spot (I arrived at 0820 on Easter Sunday and there were spaces free), but as I said, you can ark for £5 just up the track..
