I recently had the privilege of visiting SGWD LSAF CLUN-GWYN Falls, and I must say, it's a true hidden gem! This waterfall offers a serene and enchanting escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The journey to the falls itself is an adventure, with winding trails that lead you through lush forests and picturesque landscapes. As you approach the falls, the sound of cascading water grows louder, building up the anticipation for the breathtaking sight that awaits you.

Once you reach the falls, you're greeted by a mesmerizing cascade of water that tumbles down the rocky cliffs. The play of light on the water and the mist in the air adds a refreshing touch to its beauty. It's a spot that's perfect for capturing memorable photos or simply taking a moment to soak in the beauty of nature.

The tranquility of the surroundings is truly remarkable. I found myself lost in the sounds of the water and the rustling of leaves, feeling a sense of calm that's hard to find elsewhere. Whether you're an avid hiker, a nature enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, SGWD LSAF CLUN-GWYN Falls has something special to offer.

Remember to come prepared with comfortable shoes, a camera, and maybe even a picnic to fully enjoy your time here. The trails are well-maintained, making the hike accessible for most visitors. However, the trials will be really slippery if there is a rain.

I highly recommend making the journey to SGWD LSAF CLUN-GWYN Falls. It's an experience that will leave you rejuvenated and grateful for the beauty that exists in our natural surroundings. Don't miss out on this hidden paradise! We parked the Car in Cwm Porth, started our journey from there, I would recommend you buy the ROUTE MAP (1 Pound) it is easily available in the information center. Trust me this helped us really well. Without this you may be completely lost. Out of 4 falls this would be the first water falls you see if you start your journey...

This was one of the best experience we had... This trekking experience gives you the opportunity to see the waterfalls and also enjoy the nature at its best. The location is structured and planned for everyone to have a best experience.

There are few things we have to follow to enjoy the experience.

  1. Plan your visit in advance and arrange your trekking kits, boots are must as there could be some slippery surfaces.

  2. Carry some food as you could sit and enjoy a snack after the experience at the falls.. it's a lifetime experience at the falls

  3. Generally the complete experience is around 4 hours of walking so be prepared for the journey

  4. Around 4.5 miles is the distance we need to walk so be prepared and enjoy the visit.

  5. Buy a map at the parking so you can carry it along the way as it guides you through your journey so you don't get lost in the forest

  6. We noticed a couple of people walking on the other side and had to go back again. There are difference parking places so remember where you are starting so you know where to come back.

  7. Altogether this is one of the best place anyone who loves trekking and wants to enjoy the nature can visit and see the four falls.

Best wishes to you and thank you for those wonderful people who took efforts to plan this place into a wonderful...

Going to try to give a very helpful review as I didn’t find previous reviews helped me! The whole trail will take around 4 hours for sure. Decent falls - You can’t expect epic - it is still the UK!

The time is mainly taken closer to each fall because you have to climb rocks with your hands in some areas. It is a real workout. So yes you need to be able to do that. That said, I saw people of all ages doing it just fine! I was impressed.

The ONLY really negative aspect to me were people’s dogs. Now this is a huge problem that is not talked about at all. I am a very fit young person and while rock climbing to the falls I had several small slips and trips due to people having no control of their dogs. I found this very dangerous and stressful. Dogs need to be banned for safety here! People can’t control their dogs. And they...

Probably our favorite waterfall place to visit in Wales. The treck down is well signposted and easy enough to follow. There are seats dotted about along the trail, and you will use them. Definitely not for anyone who isn't fit and able. The waterfall is accessed from the bottom waterfall as currently the path down directly is closed due to safety. Its easy to fall here, and no help nearby. Once you do get there, you are rewarded with plunge pools, rock jumps, paddling in the stream, and a couple of jumps if your prepared. It gets super busy here and it's advised to get there early if you want a prime spot. It's right in the middle of 3 other great waterfalls and the setting here is outstanding.

Woww i simply can not express how stunning this waterfall really is. The most amazing thing is its neither slippery or deep. So you can get all around it in any spot to get the best viewpoint and enjoy it from any angle. It took the extreme short cut it was quick to get to bur a little difficult but i had the entire spot from this end to myself and there is so many spaces around potential for picnic. But please make sure to take your rubbish with you. If you can carry your load with you to the waterfall. Im sure you can also carry the empty wrappings back. Do not litter. Respect the environment. There is a carpark close by. The overflow car park charges £5 all day.
